They do not access the main home or guest facilities.<br />• Minimum Stays: Most summer weekends require a 3-night stay - though we’ve opened a few weekends to 2-night stays this year. We also do offer 2 night stays in the summer for hosted stays. <br />•Hosted Stay Discount: Ask us about a discounted “hosted” version of the rental if you’re flexible on full home privacy. Save up to 15%. See More on this below...or just inquire! (not avail for 2 night stays in summer)<br />• The home sleeps 8 extremely comfortably. We rarely allow more than 8 guests - but if you are looking for 1-2 extra, we are open to discussing. There will be a small additional charge of $150/ person / night. Please confirm this with us ahead of time.<br />• The pool is solar heated. Depending on the weather, it usually starts to get comfortable for swimming in mid-late April or early May and is usable through mid October (sometimes into early November). Designer- Kim Betzina<br /><br />🌟 The ‘House Guests Experience’ — A more Connected and Personal way to experience The Wolf & Horseshoe: <br /><br />For a limited number of stays, we offer what we call The House Guests Experience — a more relaxed, hosted way to experience the property, offered at a preferred rate (approximately 15% below standard pricing).<br /><br />During these stays, we may be on property, creating a rhythm that feels closer to being welcomed guests in a thoughtfully designed home. You’ll still enjoy full access to all four bedrooms and the estate — with plenty of space and privacy to settle in and make it your own.<br /><br />At times, paths may naturally cross — over morning coffee, an evening glass of wine, or out on the land. You’ll get the full farm feel with our on-property farm dogs that our guests have come to love. It’s unstructured, easy hospitality — the kind that often becomes a favorite part of the stay.<br /><br />For those who appreciate a more connected, lived-in experience, this is a special way to enjoy The Wolf & Horseshoe. If this style of stay resonates, we’d be happy to share more details and provide a House Guests rate for your dates.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />• You’ll have full, private access to the home and main property during your stay. Pool, kitchen, indoor/outdoor living spaces, gardens, fruit trees—you name it. <br /><br />• Pick peaches, apples and grapes, herbs and walnuts from the property when in season. <br /><br />• There is a 5th bedroom - the only upstairs room which is unoccupied during your stay, locked and not available for use.<br /><br />• There are 2 'barns' on the backside of the property that are not part of the rental. <br /><br />• If you choose the Hosted Rental option, it comes with a 15% discount, and the experience then is more similar to a traditional B&B (minus the breakfast!...but we'll have coffee!!) See more on this in our interaction with guests section.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />While we are huge animal lovers, we do not allow dogs, pets, or others on property. With the sheep, we've just had too many issues.<br /><br />There is a small guest house/ 'barn' on the back side of the property (keep in mind we have 5 acres) that may or may not be occupied during your stay so that the animals and farm can be maintained. It is private and removed from the main property area. Please do not enter either of the barn properties. They will not interfere with your stay<br /><br />We also have 15 +/- sheep on the back side of the property that are very friendly, and will be sure to baaaa at you when you are out in the yard! <br /><br />Our Sonoma County TOTC Certificate Number is 1310N.
