Inside the closet kitchenette is a sink, microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker, and hot water kettle. We also have plateware & utensils provided.<br /><br />Down the hall is a bathroom with shower/tub & vanity that is well stocked with bath towels, beach towels, shampoo, conditioner, and soaps.<br /><br />Past the bathroom is the main guest bedroom with a comfortable queen size bed & A/C, a closet, and windows looking out to the local plants & garden.<br /><br />You may access the pergola sitting area by following the gravel path alongside your suite. <br /><br />We also have beach gear available for use on your entrance patio (snorkel, fins, cooler, chairs).<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />This is a private guest suite attached to a main house where we live. You will have a private entrance, living room, bedroom, bathroom, and cozy backdoor relaxation area under a pergola. While there are no shared spaces, you may see us coming and going from the driveway.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Taxes<br />As required by the State & County of Hawai’i for ALL lodging establishments, we are charged 2 types of taxes for each stay:<br />1) Transient Accommodations Tax 11%<br />2) General Excise Tax 4.7%<br />While we absorb the GET on your behalf, the TAT will be added to your booking summary under ‘Occupancy Taxes’. We do not keep these, they are passed straight on as part of our compliance with the law.
