A one bedroom condo on the 31st floor of the Waikiki Sunset, one block from Waikiki Beach. This newly redecorated (July 2024) unit has a king bed, new full bed and queen size pull out couch, plus two large TVs, free wifi, central AC and free parking for one car (MAXIMUM height 6 ft). The kitchen is equipped with appliances, cookware, dishes, and utensils that are regularly updated. The 6th floor is having work done but the pool, and recreation deck will remain open for use during the work.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />Please note that upon arrival, all guests MUST check in with security. Failure to do this may result in a $1,000 fine from the building association <br /><br />Aloha Waikiki Sunset Guests:<br /> <br />The 6th Floor Renovations is scheduled to commence on Thursday, February 19, 2026 through May 2026. Y3 Construction will be working Monday through Friday from 8:00am – 4:00pm. Construction noises may be heard during this time. Please be aware of the construction signage and barriers that will be in place to navigate you safely through the affected areas. The pool, fitness center, hospitality lounge, and recreation deck will remain open for use during the work.<br /><br />After a day in the sun, guests can relax on their private lanai on the 31st floor with views of the verdant mountains and partial views of Diamond Head and coastline. <br />There is a new king bed in the bedroom and a full bed and queen pull out sofa in the living room. You can enjoy a 45 inch flat screen with a multitude of channels and great central air conditioning. The kitchen has a standard electric stove, microwave and full size refrigerator for meals on the go, and is equipped with a recently updated kitchenware for cooking and eating.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />Guests have one unassigned complimentary parking space. Coin operated laundry facilities on each floor. $1.50/washer and $1.50/dryer. Trash chutes are located on each floor. Free use of the pool and recreational/picnic area from 9am to 9pm (due to COVID 19, use of these areas may be affected). There is a convenience store onsite. The property has 24 hour onsite security is very safe and welcoming.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Please note that we are only allowed to have 4 adults total, but we also can have additional guests under the age of 18. <br /><br />Our pool deck will be under renovation from May 4 - Sept 2026 (possibly later if project gets extended) <br /><br />Members of our reservation staff can converse in Japanese, Korean and Vietnamese. We also have honest and industrious cleaners, reliable repairmen, and managers to assist you.<br /><br />As mentioned above, there is free parking in the building's own parking structure but there a height limit of 6 feet. Please therefore avoid bring cars that are over 6 feet in height, such as Chevy Suburban, Chevy Tahoe (most large SUV).<br /><br />This rental is legal under Hawaii's short-term rental laws.
