Welcome to my thoughtfully curated Victorian oasis.<br /><br />Located on a quiet, tree-lined street in SoMa, this restored 1907 home is just a 17-minute walk to Moscone Center. Filled with original art, vintage treasures, and crystal chandeliers, it blends historic San Francisco character with modern comfort. Whether you're visiting for a conference, exploring the city with friends, or enjoying a family getaway, I hope you'll arrive, settle in, and immediately feel at home.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />The home offers 3 bedrooms with 3 queen beds, each with its own dedicated workspace, making it equally well suited for conference attendees, remote work, or groups who appreciate a little personal space.<br /><br />Guests often mention how thoughtfully the home is prepared. The kitchen is fully equipped for real cooking with a gas range, oven, air fryer, Vitamix, toaster, and everything you need to prepare meals at home. Coffee lovers are especially happy here: enjoy freshly ground beans with your choice of drip coffee, pour-over, moka pot, or single-serve brewing. A light breakfast and a selection of teas are also provided.<br /><br />Like many historic San Francisco Victorians, the home has a combined living and dining room. The extendable dining table comfortably seats your group, while the sitting area is intentionally compact and best suited for conversation, coffee, or a glass of wine. Please review the photos to ensure the layout is the right fit for your stay.<br /><br />The garden patio is a shared outdoor space with neighboring residences and is not reserved exclusively for guests. It often feels wonderfully private, but you may occasionally encounter a neighbor enjoying the garden as well.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />You'll be staying in one of San Francisco's most central neighborhoods, with easy access to public transportation, museums, restaurants, coffee shops, nightlife, and many of the city's most popular attractions.<br /><br />Walking distances:<br /><br />Moscone Center: 17 minutes<br />Civic Center BART: 8 minutes<br />Sightglass Coffee: 3 minutes<br />Harvest Market: 3 minutes<br />SFMOMA: about 20 minutes<br /><br />I'm always happy to recommend my favorite restaurants, coffee shops, cocktail bars, museums, and neighborhood gems based on what you're looking for.<br /><br />PARKING: <br />Like most downtown San Francisco neighborhoods, parking can take a little patience. Overnight street parking is available on my street from 9 PM to 9 AM. Nearby metered parking is available during the day, free after 6pm; covered public garages (Trinity Place and SoMa Grand) are about an 8-minute walk away. I'm always happy to share parking tips before your arrival.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />**Interactions with Guests**<br /><br />The host resides in a separate bedroom within the home and does not access guest spaces. Interaction is minimal unless assistance is requested, allowing guests to enjoy a private, quiet, and comfortable stay in San Francisco.<br /><br />**Things to keep in mind**<br /><br />* A/C: This is a beautifully preserved 1907 Victorian and does not have central heating or air conditioning. Each bedroom has its own heater and fan, making it easy to adjust the temperature to your comfort.<br /><br />* SHOES OFF PLEASE! This is a shoeless home.<br /><br />* Families are very welcome. Please note that the home was designed with adults in mind and is not childproof. I do not provide a crib or other infant equipment, but I'm happy to recommend a local rental company that can deliver these items before your arrival.<br /><br />* Visitor policy: The home is designed for registered guests to stay, work, cook, dine, and relax together. It is not available as a venue for hosted events, conference drop-ins, or large gatherings. If you anticipate having visitors during your stay, please reach out before booking so we can make sure the home is the right fit.<br /><br />Luggage: You're welcome to leave your luggage in the garage before check-in or after check-out whenever possible. The garage is a shared storage space and is not reserved exclusively for guest luggage.
