Welcome to the Heart of Sonoma Plaza, a stylish and clean Victorian that has been planned for a fun, comfortable stay that reflects Sonoma's history. Modern handmade furniture in cherry wood, leather, and more, crisp linens and fine mattresses, central cooling, a tranquil rear garden with a table for open air dining, a small but well appointed kitchen, the covered front porch is a great place to relax. Just two blocks from Sonoma Plaza with its abundance of wine, dining, museums, and fun!<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />As you approach on the brick entry path, you will go up a few steps to the clam front porch with chairs to relax. Through the front door, the entry half bath is directly to you left. The room opens to the living room with a nice sitting area with an comfortable American Leather sleeper sofa and several chairs. The TV is mounted to one wall, but can be pulled out to allow viewing from most anywhere in the living room, dining room, and kitchen. The downstairs is open concept, with the kitchen directly ahead, and the dining area behind the living room to the right. The French doors at the rear of the dining area provide access to the rear deck with a gas barbecue, and down to the European style rear patio area with a large table, allowing for your entire group to enjoy al fresco dining or evening drinks.<br /><br />Back inside, there is laundry for guest use in the garage (parking on the driveway) just to the right of the stairs, which lead up to the bunk room, which is the beginning of the unusual split-level upstairs. This configuration is a an original part of the home, which was a Victorian cottage that was raised to add the ground floor - which explains how the home can be so airy, modern, and historical all at the same time.<br /><br />Continuing up the stairs, there is a hallway bathroom to the right with a shower. To the left there is a Jack and Jill bathroom with a tub and a shower, that can be accessed from both the hallway and the primary bedroom. The two bedrooms at the end of the hallway have luxurious modern furniture chosen carefully to evoke all the history of the home and of central Sonoma.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />Self check-in via automated door code<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />* Absolutely no Weddings/Events/Parties allowed at the house. Registered guests only at all times.<br />* City of Sonoma Quiet hours are 9pm-7am (strictly enforced).<br />* No music allowed outdoors - this is a City of Sonoma rule for all vacation rentals.<br />* Unfortunately, no pets allowed.
