Located where the Kona Country Club meets the Ocean, and minutes from bustling Kona town, this is the spot for you!<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />Look no further, our single level, two bedroom/two bathroom Kanaloa at Kona condo is ready for your family vacation. <br /><br />Updated in 2024 with new split AC system, new luxury vinyl flooring, new carpet in bedrooms, new tile on lanai, new ceiling fans in common areas, and new matching couch and sofa bed. Kitchens and bathrooms are also recently renovated and modern. The complex has three brand new PICKLEBALL courts, one tennis court, and three different pools to choose from on property.<br /><br />Enjoy spectacular ocean views from your private main lanai. As you sip a local Kona coffee in the morning or enjoy a cold beverage from the outdoor mini-fridge as the sun sets over the azure Pacific, the spacious lanai (patio) features an outdoor dining table with room for family meals or lounging and admiring the Kona coast.<br /><br />Luxurious and rare Hawaiian Koa wood cabinetry along with sparkling stainless steel appliances adorn the recently updated kitchen, which features everything you'll need to cook your own breakfast, lunch or dinner. Brew your own pot of coffee in our coffee maker, or enjoy a simple cup from our Keurig. We also have an electric water kettle to heat water for your tea, and a countertop toaster.<br /><br />The full-sized dining table seats six comfortably for shared family meals with views to the ocean or the TV.<br /><br />Our spacious living room features cozy seating to enjoy watching cable tv or movies on our large television, along with a queen-sized pull out sofa bed. High Speed internet and wifi is available for all of your tech needs and personal devices.<br /><br />You'll find a comfortable king bed and full en suite bathroom in the large primary bedroom with a massive walk-in glass shower, dual sinks, and a separate toilet room. There is a walk in closet for unpacking and storing your luggage. Just outside the main bedroom is a second private lanai, perfect for relaxing in peace with views of the Kona Country Club golf course.<br /><br />The second bedroom features two twin beds. There is a second detached bathroom with full shower. Both bathrooms have been recently updated with stylish tile throughout. Both bedrooms have tv's mounted within view of the bed.<br /><br />Newly installed split-air AC systems and ceiling fans throughout the condo ensure a cool and comfortable environment year-round. A full washer and dryer is available in our unit to keep your clothes so fresh and so clean while away from home.<br /><br />There is a dedicated and reserved covered parking space for one car, with open parking for additional vehicles if needed. Featuring spacious and manicured open spaces, sixteen acres of low density condos harken back to the Hawaii of yesterday with the modern conveniences that you deserve. <br /><br />Our favorite features include the three full sized pools. The Oceanfront pool is the most popular, where you can frolic next to the waves crashing on lava rocks only a few feet away. There is also a large family pool in the center of the complex right next to the club house and game room. Lastly you'll find a tranquility (quiet) pool, for relaxed lounging. All pools include showers and changing rooms. <br /><br />For those seeking an active vacation there are two Tennis Courts on property for playing tennis or pickleball. Check out rackets and battle it out on the court of your choosing. For those seeking a smaller court, there is ping pong available in the club house.<br /><br />Six outdoor Barbecues are available for grilling your fresh caught (or supermarket purchased) fish, tasty steaks, or juicy burgers. Enjoy grilling as you marvel at the majestic views of Hualalai mountain on one side and the mighty Pacific on the other.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Kanaloa at Kona is a tranquil complex located within the Keauhou resort area, which features everything you need within a very short distance. Be sure to try fresh fruits and meet local artisans at the Keauhou Farmers Market on Saturday mornings, or stock up on groceries at the KTA Super Store located within the Keauhou Shopping Center. The center also holds numerous small restaurants and shops to explore and enjoy. <br /><br />Just up the street is the popular Keauhou Bay where water activities and manta ray viewing tours are readily available. Kahalu'u Beach Park is another local spot popular for snorkeling and surfing, just a few minutes away.<br /><br />Our condo is located just 10 minutes from busting Kailua-Kona town, the main hub of the island. Spend time enjoying a myriad of restaurants and shops along busy Ali'i Drive, or find all the comforts of home at nearby stores such as Target and Costco.<br /><br />Drive to the East side of the island to visit Volcano National Park, Punalu'u Black Sand Beach, beautiful waterfalls, or eclectic Hilo town. Or drive north to the sugary white sand beaches of the Kohala Coast.
