Here at Gingerhill Farm, we heed our role as stewards of the land and commit to practices that improve the health of our acreage year after year. This means we spray no insecticides or herbicides. It also means that in Hawaii, a subtropical island, we experience intervals of mosquito or termite pressure. Resonant Coqui frogs, native to Puerto Rico, sing at night and sound like crickets. We consider these players as part of our ecosystem and strive to maintain a balance. Our grounds are beautiful and fertile, partly tamed and partly wild. We ask that guests understand these dynamics and book accordingly.

In our efforts to lighten our carbon footprint, we have switched to solar power.
