As with any city setting, you may hear some ambient noise at night. Many guests enjoy this as part of the Waikīkī experience, but it's worth noting if you prefer very quiet surroundings.<br /><br />The unit is equipped with a window-type air conditioner to keep the space cool and comfortable. Instead, consider renting one only on the days you plan to explore outside of Honolulu. While you're in Waikīkī, a car isn't necessary. The area is very walkable, and you'll also find an excellent bus system, bikes, trolleys, electric scooters, Scoot Coupes, Uber, and other convenient transportation options.<br /><br />On-Site Parking:<br /><br />Garage clearance: 6 ft. 6 in.<br />Vehicle registration is required. All vehicles must be registered at the front desk with the license plate number. Unregistered vehicles will be towed without warning at the owner's expense.<br />Visitor parking (8:00 AM–4:00 PM): The first 2 hours are free. After that, a $25 fee applies.<br /><br />Overnight Parking:<br /><br />Beginning at 4:00 PM, you may purchase an overnight parking pass for $45 per night, subject to availability. The pass expires at 12:00 PM the following day, and your vehicle must be removed at that time.<br /><br />Parking passes cannot be purchased in advance or for multiple nights. If you need parking for another night, simply return to the front desk after 4:00 PM to check availability and purchase a new pass.<br /><br />Alternative Parking:<br /><br />Free street parking may be available along Ala Wai Boulevard, but spaces are limited and can be difficult to find.<br /><br />Street cleaning: Mondays and Fridays from 8:30 AM–11:30 AM. Vehicles parked during those hours may be towed.<br /><br />If hotel parking is full, nearby options include:<br /><br />Waikīkī Banyan – about $50 per 24 hours<br />Island Colony – about $47 per 24 hours (subject to availability).
