We’re nearby and happy to help make your stay relaxing, memorable, and fun!<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />South Maui Surf Shack, Unit B110, is the largest one-bedroom floor plan in the Maui Kamaole complex, offering more than 1,050 square feet of spacious, beach-inspired living. This first-floor, ground-level condo has no stairs, making it easy to bring in luggage, groceries, and beach gear.<br /><br />Inside, you’ll find a bright, open living area with plenty of room for couples, families, or friends. The oversized living room features a large sectional and a 75-inch TV—perfect for relaxing together after a day at the beach.<br /><br />Start your morning with the sounds of tropical birds and a fresh cup of coffee from our in-house coffee and tea bar, a guest favorite. Maui produces some of the best coffee in the world, and you can enjoy it without leaving the condo.<br /><br />Open the double sliding doors and step onto the lush lanai with partial ocean views. Sip your morning coffee on the comfortable outdoor furniture, or take a short 30-yard walk from the lanai to the hilltop and watch one of Maui’s unforgettable sunsets.<br /><br />The spacious primary suite features a king-size bed, a relaxed beach vibe, and its own private tropical lanai. Open the doors and let the cool evening breezes flow through the room. The ensuite bathroom includes a shower and tub combination and was fully renovated in December 2023.<br /><br />All mattresses, bed linens, and bath towels are luxury bamboo from Cariloha. Guests also receive a 20% discount at the Cariloha store at The Shops at Wailea.<br /><br />Instead of a traditional pull-out sofa, we chose a comfortable queen-size Murphy bed so every guest can enjoy a restful night’s sleep. The condo also includes a second full bathroom, fully renovated in December 2023, providing extra space and privacy for families or friends.<br /><br />The condo enjoys excellent cross breezes throughout. Open the sliding doors and let the refreshing Maui air move through the space, or enjoy the ceiling fans and air conditioning when preferred.<br /><br />The fully stocked kitchen includes stainless steel appliances installed in June 2022, along with oils, spices, foil, and many everyday cooking essentials. You’ll also have a coffee and tea bar, full-size in-unit laundry, ceiling fans, air conditioning, and many thoughtful amenities designed to make your stay comfortable.<br /><br />For beach days, we provide a beach wagon, umbrella, chairs, beach towels, Bluetooth speaker, cooler with ice packs, boogie boards, and sand toys. There’s no need to pack or rent extra gear.<br /><br />Maui Kamaole is set on 23 acres of beautifully maintained tropical grounds and features two swimming pools, hot tubs, and tennis courts. Its peaceful setting and convenient location make it one of Kihei’s most desirable condo communities.<br /><br />We go far beyond the basics. Guests receive full-size toiletries, sunscreen, laundry soap, paper goods, and a generously equipped kitchen. There are no limited “starter packs” here—we want you enjoying Maui, not shopping for essentials.<br /><br />Best of all, there are no checkout chores. No laundry, no stripping beds, and no list of cleaning tasks. Relax and enjoy your final morning—we’ll take care of the rest. 🌺<br /><br />For families traveling with children, a twin rollaway bed is available upon request as an alternative sleeping arrangement within a reservation of up to four guests. It does not increase the condo’s maximum occupancy. Please let us know before arrival if you would like it set up, as it is not stored inside the condo.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />The entire condo is yours to enjoy other than the owner's closet, which is a small locked storage room.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Please note that hurricane season in Hawaii runs from June through November. We recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance for their trip, particularly for stays during hurricane season.<br /><br />For families traveling with infants, we offer several amenities to make your stay easier, including a Pack ’n Play, highchair, indoor and beach toys, children’s books, a white noise machine, and child-friendly dishes, cups, and utensils.<br /><br />If you need additional baby equipment, we highly recommend No Ka Oi Baby Rentals. Delivery and pickup can be arranged directly with them, and we are always happy to assist however we can.<br /><br />For families traveling with children, a twin rollaway bed is available upon request as an alternative sleeping arrangement for reservations of up to four guests.
