The walk there is one of the highlights of the stay: a scenic<br />12-minute stroll along the historic Royal Fish Ponds and lava tube preservation trails.<br />Alternatively, it's a 5-minute drive with free parking.<br />Also included: the Palm Villas' black lava rock waterfall pool and hot tub, open year-round. The<br />pool is semi-private — only Palm Villas residents have access, so it's rarely crowded.<br />All the beach gear you need lives in the detached garage: chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, life<br />jackets, swim belts, a large wheeled wagon, cooler, and Tupperware for beach picnics.
