Once back from your day on the mountain, use the boot warmer in the entryway to keep your boots and mitts warm and dry. In the summer, a bike rack with a cable lock is located under the front porch so that you can leave your bikes overnight with peace of mind.<br />The kitchen and bathrooms are stocked with all the essentials that we think are important for a comfortable stay.<br /><br />A Bright and Spacious Haven:<br /><br />Our living area exudes warmth and relaxation, with high ceilings and large windows that let in an abundance of natural light. Pool towels not included (Pack your own or rent them at the center for $2)<br />This gives you access for the day to all of the rec center amenities: playground, pools, hot tubs, sauna, fitness center, tennis courts (summer), pickle ball courts (summer), bocce ball (summer), BBQ grills, lawn games and more.<br />2 vehicles max can be parked in front of the unit with provided parking passes (strictly enforced by HOA)<br />As is common with most places in Tahoe, our mountain cabin does not have A/C. At 6,260 ft elevation, nights are always quite chilly, and we have fans in every room. Our unit gets morning and afternoon sun, so while it is bright, the living room can get hot on summer days.<br />Make sure to download and install the "Northstar Transportation" app to summon and track the on-demand shuttle.<br />TVs are smart tv with streaming capabilities (with Apple TV & Amazon Fire stick). There are no cable or local channels other than those available on streaming apps. Internet is a complementary amenity and not guaranteed in case of bad weather. <br />Note that we have a strict cancellation policy - we suggest adding trip insurance for any last minute issues that may impact your travel (weather, illness, etc.). We are not able to cancel, move or refund bookings that do not fall in our cancellation policy for any reason.<br />We can only welcome dogs can in the summer due to the house being carpeted throughout.
