Return home to enjoy a BBQ with fresh floral-scented trade winds or unwind with the sunset view from the 2nd-floor lanai.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />Our two-story 2 bed / 2 bath home in Kauai's north shore is the perfect blend of style and affordable price.<br /><br />Enjoy a pleasant morning 15-minute walk with astounding views of the mountain and waterfalls to reach Princeville shopping center - with its numerous shopping and dining selections, including a grocery store and wine shop - or stroll across the little footbridge to the Westin and find a Starbucks, a small convenience store, and dining options.<br /><br />For an active day, it's at the ideal location to explore Kauai's breathtaking north shore. Start with a short 15-minute hike to Anini Beach or a quick 10-minute drive to Hanalei Bay while enjoying fabulous lookouts along the way, or head to the end of the road and visit our national treasure, the Napali Coast.<br /><br />For a more relaxing day, choose to stay at the private community pool or inside the house, enjoying a book from the hammock chair at the upstairs loft with the fresh and sweet Hawaiian floral-scented trade winds. <br /><br />Surrounded by mature tropical grounds, you'll enjoy the ocean, mountains, fruit trees, and golf course views at Puamana. Sunsets on the west side of the community are spectacular. Make sure to follow the walking path around the golf course to appreciate a 360 view of cliffs, ocean, mountains, and often rainbows. <br /><br />AMENITIES<br /><br />The Dining & Living space: <br />Our open living room provides the perfect place to unwind with the stylish yet comfortable sofa and two traditional Hawaiian chairs. Five adults can sit comfortably at the large dining table, and two more can enjoy a cocktail from the island countertop. The room features beautiful views of the garden that fills it with gorgeous colors both at sunrise and sunset. The room also has a 43" Smart HDTV with pivoting arm so you can enjoy your favorite show from all angles of the room. Sign in to your favorite streaming service to continue watching where you left it off at home.<br /><br />The kitchen & dry bar:<br />A fully equipped open layout kitchen wholly stocked with cookware, dishes, and utensils will make cooking an easy task during your vacation, and the dishwasher will ensure you can maximize your time outside and not clean in the kitchen after meals. The large countertop makes entertaining your family fun and inclusive for everyone on the trip. We fully outfitted the dry bar with glassware and dishes for any occasion.<br /><br />Main Upstairs Bedroom Lofted Suite:<br />Relax on a comfortable California King-sized bed with four soft pillows and hotel-quality linens, a large walking closet, and a ceiling fan. The room also has a large 55" Smart HDTV to watch your favorite movies. The spacious loft features a chill-out space with puffs and a hammock chair, private full bathroom with anything you need to enjoy a nice shower before bed.<br /><br />Downstairs Bedroom:<br />We equipped it with a tall queen bed, four soft pillows, and hotel-quality linens. This room also offers a large closet and a private work desk. Under the desk, there is a Humidity control cabinet to place some of your most valuable electronics, such as DSLR cameras and lenses. The room also has a Smart TV, ceiling fan, a large private lanai, and an exit to the community's garden.<br /><br />Downstairs Bathroom:<br />Spacious full bathroom with tub/shower and beach decor. Stocked with towels and all the items you need to groom yourself after an active day on the island. This bathroom is situated right across from the washer and dryer area to make your transition from the beach into your island cocktail attire more convenient.<br /><br />Laundry:<br />The washer and dryer are downstairs, and we provide some detergent for your convenience. The upstairs walking closet has an iron and iron board to eliminate any wrinkles from your favorite clothes.<br /><br />WiFi & other misc items:<br />A high-speed wireless internet connection is available in all rooms and lanais. The upstairs walking closet has a Pack&Play and sheets for those traveling with infants. The back lanai closet stores some snorkeling sets in different sizes, buggy boards, a large cooler, chairs, and umbrella - please note that the beach items are offered for your convenience and not guaranteed to be present as other guests might be damaging them prior to your arrival. The unit also offers beach towels for maximum convenience. As with most homes on Kaua'i, this vacation rental is not air-conditioned, but ceiling fans and the island breeze cool the place beautifully.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Anini Beach:<br />Anini is the longest and widest reef in the Hawaiian Islands, and because of its unique location, the beach usually offers the most consistent conditions for safe water activities. There is no lifeguard posted at Anini Beach, but it is still considered one of the safer beaches on Kauai's North Shore. Anini is generally uncrowded, and everyone can enjoy snorkeling, beach walks, picnicking, and more. The path from Princeville to Anini Beach is a beautiful jungle path with scenic views, but watch out as it can be slippery following rain.<br /><br />Hideaways Beach:<br />Hideaways beach is a beautiful scenic beach that has very little parking access. You can use the complimentary valet service at St. Regis to avoid parking hassles.<br /><br />Queen's Bath Beach:<br />Do not plan to go to Queenʻs Bath during the winter to early spring. When the swell is up on the north shore, this area is rough and deadly. We suggest visiting Hanalei, where there are lifeguards stations.<br /><br />Keʻe Beach:<br />You will need a reservation to visit Keʻe beach. If you plan on taking the shuttle to Keʻe Beach, you will find it picks up right down the road at the Makai Golf Course. They will not let you bring an oversized Tommy Bahama style beach chair on the shuttle, but the thin camping chairs are allowed.
