Papakea Resort is located at North Kaanapali Beach and features 13 acres of lush landscaped grounds, fresh water Koi ponds, 2 swimming pools, 2 large jacuzzi's, 12 gas BBQ's, 2 putting greens, 2 shuffleboard courts and 3 tennis courts. <br /><br />** PLEASE NOTE** that your quoted price includes the Hawaii State and Maui County TAT tax and GED taxes totaling 18.5%. No resort fees!!<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />My first floor location has fantastic ocean views with close parking so you do not have to climb stairs or use the elevator while unloading your vehicle. <br /><br />The unit is well stocked with kitchen ware and appliances, we also provide:<br />-beach chairs, beach towels, beach umbrella but no snorkeling gear for health <br /> reasons<br />- toiletries starter kit sufficient for a short stay,<br />- laundry soap, dish soap and kitchen cleaning supplies<br />- drip coffeemaker <br />- linens, towels, etc.<br /><br /><br />To make sure your stay is comfortable we have a ceiling fan over the bed and a quiet split system Daiken AC unit installed June 2023. We DO NOT have a noisy window rattler AC unit like many of the other units have at Papakea. Smoking areas are very limited and generally located in parking lot areas furthest from the buildings.<br /><br />The unit you are staying in is special to me and I hope you treat the condo with care. Please let me know if something is needing attention as my cleaning staff may not catch some items requiring attention.<br /><br />Please remove shoes in the unit.<br />It is common courtesy to wash and put away all dishes you have used prior to departing.<br />Please leave soiled towels on the bath floor and leave the beds unmade.<br />If able please start a load of towels in the washer this helps the cleaning staff get a jump on preparation for the next guest.<br />Please dispose of all trash the trash room is a few steps away.<br />Please turn off all appliances, air conditioning, fans, TV and lights before you exit.<br />Please close any windows and lock the lanai door<br />Thank you<br /><br />** IMPORTANT ** Quarterly pest spraying is done by the home owners association. If you are staying in the unit when the pest control crew comes by please let them in. The spraying is not harmful and goes a long way preventing bug issues.<br />Pest control services are necessary in tropical climates such as Hawaii and we do our best to service the unit. If you spot more than the normal expected pests we always make our best effort to minimize your interaction with these pests. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this agreement or give any guest the right to any refund or rental adjustment. <br /><br />** We make no guarantee that properties adjacent to the unit will be free from disturbances, including but not limited to noise or inconvenience from construction, traffic or other guests or neighbors.
