We have a new 85 inch Samsung HDTV in the living room (the picture shows the "old" 65 inch TV) as well as smart TVs in both bedrooms and super fast (up to 500 meg), reliable wifi for all of your technological needs. The custom sectional sleeper couch pulls out to be a queen size bed, and we also have a double air mattress to accommodate extra guests.<br /><br />The living room opens up to a huge 20' x 15' covered lanai with two ceiling fans, lights a dining table that seats 6, and plenty of seating. The lush landscaping makes it feel like you are in your own private tropical oasis and we even have a hot water outdoor shower to rinse in after a day at the beach or a surf session. We provide beach chairs, beach towels, a cooler, beach toys, and a wagon for your enjoyment. There is an uncovered 20' x 15' lanai directly above this space, accessed from the master bedroom. So you have 600 square feet of private outdoor furnished living space from which you can hear and see the ocean.<br /><br />The master bedroom has a king size bed and full bathroom with a shower, and a walk in closet with a workspace. From the bed you have a view of palm trees swaying in the breeze just past your private lanai, and a peek of the ocean from the windows. Enjoy cocktails at sunset from the comfort of your outdoor sectional sofa on the second huge 20' x 15' lanai or just lounge in the midday sun with your favorite book. With ocean views and the shade of the coconut trees, this lanai is quite possibly the best spot in the house. Clever Trevor loves to leave the window facing the ocean open at night to be soothed to sleep by the sound of gently crashing waves.<br /><br />The guest room is also outfitted with a king size bed and also boasts peek ocean views from both windows. Wake up with the sun as it comes over the mountains or maybe choose to close the blackout blinds for a peaceful morning of sleep. All of our doors and windows are double paned and sound proof so you will never have to worry about road noise or other disturbances. The guest bathroom has a deep soaking tub and shower and is located in the hallway outside of the guest bedroom.<br /><br />Though Lahaina town was deeply affected by the August 2023 fire and some of our community townhomes and our clubhouse did burn, the gated community of Puamana offers a tranquil escape where you can spend your days captivated by the ocean 200 feet from your door. Whether you seek adventure on the water or a peaceful spot to relax, this updated townhome invites you to enjoy the best of Maui's coastal living. Owner Clever Trevor has lived here for much of the time since the fire and it's as charming as ever. Enjoy our unique Ocean Pool that is so close to the ocean that salt water spray can get in it The tennis and pickleball courts are open, and Puamana's grounds are available for your enjoyment. The ocean and the surf break within Puamana's gated community are always open and there are plenty of restaurants, golf courses, and other things to do nearby and elsewhere on Maui.<br /><br />Maui County is considering a "phase out" of some vacation rentals in the future. This property will not be affected if the phaseout happens.<br /><br />Puamana is a residential community that allows vacation rentals.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />Guests have ocean and sandy beach access with surf breaks directly in front of the property and visible from the condo. You're welcome to enjoy Puamana's grounds, including our 3 pools and tennis and pickleball courts and the sunset is a big deal here. I like to watch from our second floor lanai or grab a beach chair and take a cocktail with me on the short walk down to the sand.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Owner/manager Clever Trevor, a retired city of Reno firefighter, purchased this townhome in June 2022.
