Amazing tropical gardens surround your two story townhome at the Keauhou Kona Surf and Racquet Club. Right in the middle of the Keauhou Hawai’ian Heritage Corridor. Walk down the garden path the the secluded beach to watch the amazing sunsets over the sea. The air conditioned two bedroom, two bath home has a full kitchen, in-home laundry, dishwasher and great island inspired furnishings. Parking is just outside the front door, so no lugging bags. As you drive down Ali'i Drive along the coast and see the amazing colors of the flowers, the ocean and the pounding surf along the shoreline, you will be getting closer to your home by the beach.<br /><br />The Keauhou Kona Surf and Racquet Club is an oceanfront gated community. The large, newly remodeled pool has a great area for kids as well as tables, loungers and umbrellas. There is a secluded beach at the north corner of the complex, which rarely has more than a few people enjoying it. It is spread over 16 acres of well maintained tropical gardens.<br /><br />The townhome is a two story end unit, with the two bedrooms upstairs with one bath, the second bath on the main floor. The kitchen has all they things you would need including all appliances. You have laundry in unit and a great little lanai with your own tropical garden surrounding it for privacy.<br /><br />Our townhouse, built in the traditional Hawaiian style, has amazing garden views just steps from the black sand and coral beach and the newly renovated pool. No neighbors above or below. Parking space is right by the front door, so no dragging your bags in elevators or up flights of stairs.<br /><br /> Full kitchen with dishwasher for those gourmet meals made with the local ingredients you picked up at the weekly farmers market, just a block away. Full bath upstairs and down. Laundry is in the unit. Ceiling fans throughout the interior. Nearly all the windows feature a tropical louvre design to allow the cooling trade winds to flow through. Upgraded ultra fast wireless internet, digital cable and an LED smart TV keep you connected.<br /><br />Tastefully decorated interior is comfortable with plenty of space to relax. The Master bedroom overlooks the courtyard and gardens. The second bedroom has two xl twin beds and looks at the plumeria at the front. The twins can be made into a king bed if that works better for your situation. Just let us know and we will have it all set up for you! First floor is tiled while upstairs is carpeted for your comfort.<br /><br />The relaxing lanai has a ceiling fan and overlooks the courtyard, lawn and mature tropical gardens. You can hear the surf pounding the cliffs just beyond. This makes the lanai my favorite place to drink Kona coffee in the morning, watching the native birds as they navigate the canopy. In the evening it is an amazing place to have a glass of wine and enjoy the evening, if you don't feel like walking the short walk over to the beach.<br /><br />Bar-b-ques are placed throughout the complex with picnic areas for your use. All gassed up and ready for you.<br /><br />On site tennis/pickleball courts are free for use, just sign up. Oceanfront golf at the Kona Country Club is open the the public, and is adjacent to the complex to the south. I hear the clubhouse is fantastic!<br /><br />One of the best snorkeling beaches on the island is just a 5 minute walk up Ali'i Drive. It's also a great place to learn to surf.<br /><br />We are adjacent to Keauhou Bay, which is world famous for it's Manta Ray population. They come out nearly every evening. There are dive and snorkeling excursions where you can experience the thrill of seeing them in their natural habitat.<br /><br />The Shops at Keauhou Center are just a block away, and have everything you might need with a grocery, drug store, restaurants, pubs and more! They host the Kamahameha School for Hula and other performances regularly. This is also where the Saturday Farmers Market is held.<br /><br />Visit Kilauea volcano, Kona and Kau coffee farms, macadamia nut farms, wineries, breweries, local farmers markets, national historic parks, great snorkeling beaches, black sand beaches, green sand beaches, white sand beaches, go surfing, visit thermal pools, waterfalls, botanical gardens, explore lava tubes, go whale watching, deep sea fishing, take a helicopter tour, a submarine tour, play a round of golf surrounded by the surf, go to an amazing luau, or any number of other nearby adventures. <br />You can even rent a Harley in Kailua-Kona at <br />Big Island Harley Davison.<br /><br />It's all right here...<br /><br />The entire neighborhood is filled with the Spirit of Aloha... This is the real Hawai'i everyone is looking for.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />You have full access to the entire 16 acre property, gardens, pool, tennis/pickleball courts, guest pavilions with wifi, bar-b ques with picnic areas, beach and parking. All included with no resort or use fees.
