Welcome to The Pacifica Inn located in Volcano on the Big Island of Hawai’i. The Pacifica Inn is a perfect destination for family and friends.<br /><br />Three of the rooms offer large wall-surrounded windows that allow you to view the rainforest from your room giving you a true Hawaiian tropical experience. This is one of our most popular rooms due to the large wall surrounded windows overlooking the jungle tree tops.<br /><br />We are located just five minutes away from the Hawaii Volcano National Park. The Pacifica Inn property is a very conveniently located place to stay. Especially after a long day of the best of what Hawaii has to offer.<br /><br />We are approximately one mile away from the town of Volcano where you will find restaurants, shops, post office, gas station, local artists a craft store with souvenirs.<br /><br />All of our rooms are private, and not shared with other guests.<br /><br />Our Inn has been running as business since the 1980’s. Originally known as the Volcano Inn.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />GUEST ACCESS:<br /><br />Guests can enjoy their own private quarters. Guests have access to the shared outdoor spaces. Shared outdoor spaces include the parking area, driveway, forested yard, and trails.<br /><br />LATE CHECK INS:<br />Please kindly let your host know if you will be arriving late in the evening so we can make sure that we are available for you if you have any questions need help checking in possibly help with directions or anything at all to help you to have a smooth check in.<br />Please call or text.<br /><br /><br /><br />PARKING:<br />There is free parking on the premises, limited to one vehicle per rented room. <br />Parking is for guests ONLY.<br />Visitors are welcome to park on the street.<br />There is no overnight street parking allowed due to the Mauna Loa Estates community rules.<br /><br />When parking please pull forward as much as possible to leave room for the other guests.<br />Please kindly leave enough room for guests to enter and exit their vehicles on each side. PLEASE DO NOT block other guests from getting in and out of the parking area.<br />Thank you for your kindness!<br /><br /><br />*The hot tub is currently off limits.<br />Please do not go to the hot tub area for your safety it is under repair.<br /><br />Please remind and ensure that kids and other guests limit themselves to these designated areas and respect these boundaries, allowing privacy for the other guests.<br /><br />Thank you of you kindness <br />Mahalo<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />The household tap water is fresh rainwater collected on site and filtered into the home for use.<br /><br />*However just as a precaution, we DO NOT recommend consuming the water.<br />We recommend buying your own drinking water.<br /><br />COT:<br />A twin cot is also available upon prior request. We need at least 48 hours notice if you need the cot.<br /><br />Let your host know if you will need the cot at least 48 hours in advance. If a notice less the 48 hours is given there are no guarantees you will receive a cot.<br />Cot holds up to 220lbs. <br />Cot has a mattress. <br />With a cot the room can sleep up to four people.<br /><br /><br />LATE CHECK INS:<br />You’re welcome to check in at any time.<br />Please kindly let your host know earlier in the day if you will be arriving late in the evening so that we may be able to help you with directions, checking in or any questions and all that you may have.<br />Please call or text us.<br /><br />Laundry:<br />We do not have a washer/dryer on the premises that is available for guests at this time, but should you need to wash your clothes, there is a laundromat at the Volcano Village next to the Thai Thai restaurant approximately one mile away. <br />You can get quarters at the True Value Store. The True Value Store manages the laundry mat.
