Wake up in paradise! This is a lovely little cabin on a 15 acre nature sanctuary with a lush lawn and incredible panoramic ocean views. There is a porch/ lanai which serves as a kitchen and dining area with a breathtaking ocean view and fresh ocean breezes.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />There is a queen size bed, new high quality mattress with nice linen and a kitchen equipped with an electric kettle, pour over coffee maker, full stove & other kitchen equipment. <br /><br />Enjoy strolling through our beautiful 10 acres with expansive ocean views, 2 ponds and many gardens featuring flowers, orchids, medicinal plants, fruit trees, chickens (sometimes there's free eggs!), outdoor cats and more. Visit our 50 foot circular mandala flower garden featuring a custom made sculpture of Pele at the center as well as our new 5ft tall Shiva lingam and other statues. There are plenty of little hideaway places to discover, fruits to pick and an amazing 2 mile loop hike that goes around the neighborhood. You can often get produce from our garden.<br /><br />All of our accommodations are built with the solar & rain water catchment system to demonstrate an alternative way of living sustainably. Be aware that this is a working farm and botanical garden. The moon cabin is right next to our garden center and there are workers there from 8-1 Monday-Thursday so you may hear noise and occasionally a generator. <br /><br />When you are enjoying the amazing ocean view, you can feel the refreshing trade winds, and the magical energy of this ancient land. There is even a large lava tube on the land you can visit. You will really enjoy the "vibes" of this amazing place.<br /><br /><br /><br />Sundari Gardens is located on 10 acres of tropical paradise! There are gardens everywhere filled up with fruit trees, medicinal herbs, tropical flowers, vines bromeliads…it is bursting with botanical life! There are many small hidden gardens to explore and you can often enjoy fruit right off the tree! Walk our 1/2 mile loop that goes through the front of the property and through our lovely Ohia forest in the back. There is a panoramic ocean view, not only from the house but as you walk along the grounds. Enjoy our 50 foot mandala flower garden. Stop in at the garden center and find out more about our permaculture and Korean Natural Farming techniques. Check out the greenhouse filled with tropical beauty. Or just have a relaxing time at our spa which features a hot tub, sauna, cold plunge and swimming pool (all with a spectacular ocean view!). ***Drop-in our Spa for $20 a day access<br />Spa Hours: Sun-Thurs 3:30-9:30pm and Sat 12-9:30pm.<br /><br />Please note, no children are allowed (Ages 0-18) , as our Spa is clothing optional. Private use can be arranged for $20/hr.<br /><br />Our property is not handicap accessible.<br /><br />You can also visit our beautiful Buff Orpington chickens and grab some fresh eggs if they’re available! <br /><br />Ask about our week long community immersion retreats which happen throughout the year.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />Your ocean-view cabin is surrounded by a beautiful and lush landscape. You are free to walk around and explore and enjoy the very unique and special energy on this land. You can also come to our Sunday morning song circle and Wednesday evening ecstatic dance. (note there is loud electronic music happening on the land from 6:30-8:30 Wednesday evening).<br /><br />We recommend that guests rent a car for their stay so they can explore the area.<br /><br /><br />Our property is not handicap accessible.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Be aware that although we keep our place very clean this is Hawaii so you can expect critters around. We are also off-grid and although we have robust electrical and water systems there can be occasional glitches which we promptly fix. Also the cabin has two sweet resident cats. One of them stays mostly to herself and the other is friendly. Both are outdoor cats. Any guests can either feed the cats themselves or a community member can stop by to feed them. Also on Wednesday night we host an ecstatic dance so expect some noise between 6:30 - 8:30. You're welcome to join! We also may occasionally need to run a generator that is nearby.
