You really only need to rent a car for the days you want to venture out to other parts of the island. 808 Smart car rentals at Island Colony, 4 blocks away is a great option. Parking is expensive here just like New York or San Francisco. We just don't have the space, as we are on an island. Due to changes in pricing, I can not quote parking pricing. Great Mopeds & 2 Seater 3 wheel mopeds on a nearby corner called Hawaiian Styles! I highly recommend both these companies! Biki Bike Rentals are 500 feet down the street to rent. Uber/Lyft and the Bus Transportation is also great & directly out front!<br /><br />- IF YOU DO RENT A CAR there is a parking garage under the building that is small & can be limited. If you choose to use the parking garage, please make sure your parking time limit does not expire. Free street parking is also offered on Ala Wai Blvd just one block up from Kuhio Avenue. It can be difficult to find a spot, but it is FREE!
