Our sunny cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood 1.5 miles from Tahoe City. You can walk to town in 30 minutes or drive in 5.<br /><br />The house is on a lot with large trees and a great sled run in the backyard. It is within twenty minutes of ski resorts: Palisades and Homewood. Also close to Nordic skiing (Paige Meadows), sledding (Granlibakken), biking, river rafting, hiking, beaches, golfing and water sports. Ask me about the good thrift stores in town. :)<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />The house is bright and sunny, especially upstairs with an open living room/ kitchen with big windows and a huge dining table that seats 12. You can be in the kitchen cooking and still interact with your guests in the living room just two steps below.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />Guests will have access to all rooms, but there are some locked cabinets that are just for the family.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Please note that the price includes a 10% Occupancy tax as required by the city. Airbnb does not currently have a means to charge that separately.
