With plenty of sunshine, comfortable beds, and a practical kitchen and living room set up, you'll be sure to enjoy the best of Silicon Valley. My Bungalow style cottage is located a short walk from restaurants in West Menlo Park and equipped with fast internet and modern gadgets. You'll be ~5 minutes away (by car) from Stanford, Sand Hill Road, downtown Menlo Park, and the CalTrain Station. For beer, wine, sandwiches or basic groceries, there is also a convenient market located steps away.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />I’ve set things up as the perfect home away-from-home. It’s an ideal choice for up to 4 people, with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a medium-sized kitchen and living room. It is furnished with a modern style and is equipped with all kitchen gadgets/supplies, Fiber Internet/ High Speed WiFi, 2 TV’s and an outdoor dining and living area.<br /><br />Guests will especially enjoy the private patio and fenced yard with a BBQ and an outdoor living space - which can be most appreciated on a warm, Silicon Valley day. During your stay, you'll likely enjoy a walk/jog through Atherton, a bike ride to Woodside and/or shopping at the world-class Stanford Shopping Center (Tiffany, Nieman Marcus, Tory Burch, etc).<br /><br />Best local restaurant options, walking distance, are top-rated Flea Street Cafe and casual Lulu's (Mexican). There is a convenient market located steps away. They are well known for their sandwiches and they even carry local/Napa wines and miscellaneous necessities!<br /><br />My home is very family friendly, and popular with young families from all over the world! If you have small children, I can provide a crib and high-chair at no extra cost (I just need to know in advance so I can set it up for you). The couch in the living room is a sofa bed (Queen-sized), however I don't recommend more than 4 people staying in the house (at least for the majority of the stay), given that there is only 1 bathroom.<br /><br />I look forward to welcoming you and your family/colleagues to all of the charm and conveniences that Menlo Park has to offer!<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />Guests have access to the full house and private use of a large patio area, which also includes a BBQ. There is also a fenced front yard and a washer and dryer. Access to the back garden area is somewhat shared. Guests do not have access to the garage or the little studio in the back.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Electric charging for EVs is available, costs are passed on at $13 per full charge during non-peak hours. For hybrid EVs, we can take a look at your usage and park accordingly. I don’t have solar, so rates passed on are PG&E rates.<br /><br />Additional cleaning services can be arranged for $150 per cleaning. <br /><br />For those with young kids, I can also provide a high-chair, crib and other similar kid items as needed - you just need to tell me in advance so I can organize for these items to be delivered.
