Walk down our hill to 24th Street and find restaurants, shops, bakeries, bars, banks, groceries and on Saturday the most amazing Farmers' Market in town!<br />STR-0000805<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />We are located on top of a hill in the sunny Noe Valley neighborhood with spectacular views looking south over Noe Valley and west to Twin Peaks. (Airbnb's map thinks our home is in the Castro, but it is actually in the Dolores Heights area of Noe Valley! The Castro is on the other side of the hill.) Our home is a detached single family dwelling and not an apartment, condo or a flat.<br /><br />When you enter our home you are in the first floor entry landing. Off this landing are a living room, dining room, eat-in kitchen, family room and a bath with a walk-in shower. The fully stocked kitchen includes a 6 burner Wolf range, dishwasher, garbage disposal, toaster, microwave, and french press coffee maker. There is a stackable full size washer and dryer on this level as well. Immediately off the family room and kitchen is a good size deck with amazing views of the lush landscape in the immediate area and the hills beyond. You’ll find chairs and an umbrella for your use. Down a short flight of stairs is a flagstone patio surrounded by well established trees and plantings. <br /><br />Up a flight of stairs from the entry hall landing are two bedrooms, an office/bedroom and a full bath with a shower over a very deep tub. The bathroom is across the hall from the bedrooms.<br /> <br />The large master bedroom has a queen size bed, the second bedroom has a full size bed, and the office has a full size pull out sofa bed. All of the bedrooms have closet space for your clothing. There is a desk in the second bedroom and in the office in case you need/want to work. Our house has wi-fi for your use.<br /><br />Throughout the house, in every room, you will find original art on the walls and shelves. There are pictures of our kids and grandkids scattered about as well. We have lived in this home for more than 40 years and we occasionally rent it when we are away on vacation or business. Since we actually live here, please be aware that it's not empty of our personal belongings like a vacation rental.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />You'll have access to the house, back yard and deck.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />We do not have off street parking. To park for more than 2 hours during the day residents need a permit. However, you can legally park one car across our driveway without the permit. There are no parking meters on our street. If you do not have a car we are 5 blocks up hill from 24th Street. Part of the charm of San Francisco is its many hills!<br /><br />There is a set of stairs to climb to enter the house and another to reach the bedrooms upstairs. <br /><br />The closest bus is 2 blocks away and the streetcar is also 2 blocks away.
