A 7 minute walk takes you to either historic streetcars or underground BART.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />Conveniently located near public transportation (BART, Muni) and just a few minutes stroll to shops along Valencia street. You don't need a car - everything is within walking distance to great restaurants, cafes, parks, and shops. Our home is very child and baby friendly. Walk one block up to Dolores St. to pick up some groceries at the new Whole Foods or one block more to the Safeway. Take a 15 minute stroll along palm tree lined Dolores St.(very stroller friendly because sidewalks are wide) to Bi-Rite ice cream or pick up a sandwich at their store. Right next to Bi-rite is Tartine Bakery, with renowned buttery croissants and desserts. Take your picnic to Dolores park and enjoy the most gorgeous view of SF from the grassy hillside. Spend a few days walking along Valencia street, just a half block away from our house. There are so many restaurants, unique stores, and art galleries to be explored. <br /><br />3 great parks are a short walk away for little ones. Mission Playground on 19th and Valencia, Dolores Park, and Kid Power Park by the BART station on Hoff St. <br /><br />There are options for everyday of your stay. You can indulge by going out to fancy restaurants, grab a hearty burrito dinner at Taqueria Cancun on Mission, or take advantage of our fully equipped kitchen and eat in. <br /><br />Our house is centrally located to all public transit. We are a 7 minute walk to the underground BART/MUNI and historic streetcars. If you are coming from SFO airport, our house is extremely easy to reach by BART. The BART stop is only a 7 minute flat walk to our house. You really don't need a car in our neighborhood because everything you need is within a minutes walk.<br /><br />If coming by car, we are only a 3 minute drive from highway 101. Street parking is available at 2 hour increments and there is a parking lot down the street on 14th st. between Valencia and Guerrero.<br /><br />You have full access to the shared garden below.
