20minutes from the airport, our condo is in the heart of Kona and provides the basis to explore and experience the beauty of the Big Island. <br /><br />The recently renovated condo offers 1BR/1BA and can accommodate 2 to 4 people. It is in walking distance to beach and many stores and restaurants. <br /><br />The condo's fully equipped kitchen with its professional range enables you to cook meals or just heat up take out. <br /><br />Please see the additional details or reach out to us with your questions.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />Overall<br />1BR/1BA condo that is a 7min walk to the closest beach (Kamakahonu Beach) as well as to many restaurants; less than 5min walk to get to grocery stores, fast food places, and pharmacy.<br />Parking stall close to entrance.<br /><br />Entrance<br />Screen door to allow you to get the evening breeze while still being within your own controlled place.<br />Electronic lock with access code to enter the condo.<br /><br />Bedroom<br />Enjoy the queen sized bed as you return from your daily adventures. The room is equipped with a brand new A/C unit as well as with fans to adjust the temperature to your liking. <br /><br />Living Room<br />Relax on the couch as you watch tv (Roku channels, or you can access your Netflix/Hulu account - credentials will be wiped upon your departure). By night the sofa can be used as a pullout bed (double size) - we provide linen if you let us know in advance that you would be needing the pullout bed.<br /><br />Kitchen<br />The kitchen is part of the living room and has been recently upgraded with a new 5 burner gas stove, oven, a new fridge and dishwasher. Heat your food up in the microwave or enjoy a home cooked meal. <br />You have a breakfast bar for two for quick meals. <br /><br />Lanai (Patio)<br />The place to enjoy your meals at the table for four people while you enjoy the warm weather or sunset. <br /><br />Bathroom<br />Shower and toilet - we provide enough towels for our guests.<br /><br />Outside<br />The pool is right across the Lanai - it is gated, we provide the key to access the pool. There is also a BBQ within the fenced in pool area. <br />You can do your own laundry if you want to dry or wash clothes. (There is a reasonable cost for this service paid through an app - details on how to install and use the phone app are shown in the laundry facility.) The laundry area is across the patio next to the pool (separate access, requires a key which we provide.) <br /><br />IMPORTANT: <br />Please note that both, pool and laundry area are being locked over night (from 9pm till 9am/8am respectively).<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />You have access to the whole condo, and shared spaces such as the pool, parking and laundry areas.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Check-in<br />Ask us if you would like to vary the standard check-in time and we see if we can accommodate your request.<br /><br />Amenities<br />We provide bath towels, linen, beach towels, beach chairs, boogie board, pool noodle, board games, Kona Island guide with ideas for your adventures across the island<br /><br />Port-a-cot / Travel cot - a port-a-cot is available in the bedroom closet - please make sure to bring your infant's / baby's preferred blanket(s)/pillow(s)<br /><br />Others<br />You are just about in the heart of Kona - walk to the pier and enjoy watching cruise ships, pods of dolphins or the occasional whale in the bay. Alternatively, have happy hour drinks and nibbles in one of the beach facing restaurants.<br /><br />We have the condo professionally cleaned in between each stay.<br /><br />Midterm Rentals<br />Please note that for rentals longer than 28d we will ask for a cleaning every 2 weeks and the signing of a rental contract.
