We are 1.5 miles from restaurants, the grocery and drugstore, and the lake. For skiers and snowboarders, the condo is 10 minutes from Northstar, 20 minutes from Diamond Peak, and 30 minutes from Palisades. In the summer, the complex features a summer pool, bocce court, tennis, and plenty of open space. We love kids, but our place is not great for children under 3 years old.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />Enjoy your time in Tahoe among the natural surroundings in this updated condo with all you need for a great stay. This is a family home with modern amenities that is ideally suited for 1-2 families. 3 BR + loft. If you are a snow sports enthusiast, we have racks to store your gear when you walk in, along with a cozy gas stove upstairs where you can warm up. If you prefer sunny days in the summer, enjoy the complex's pool, bocce court, picnic area, and tennis court. Enough space for family meals with a table that seats 6 and an additional kitchen island with three seats. Sectional sofa to relax, and a Big Joe bean bag comfy enough to sleep on!<br /><br />The community amenities include a seasonal pool (Memorial Day - Labor Day), an indoor fitness center with a treadmill, elliptical machine, and stationary bike, and a tennis court (outdoor). There are showers and restrooms in the fitness center.<br /><br />Summer inquiries: There is no air conditioning (rare in the Tahoe area, except for commercial businesses and new homes).<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />Entire space.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />This is a unit in a large complex. Two of the bedrooms face the parking area, while the other two sleeping spaces are tucked into the townhome Note that two twin beds are in the loft area, which has an open ceiling, and may take in noise from the living room. The highway, 267, is nearby, so you will hear some of the traffic. However, the townhome is not directly facing 267. Additionally, please be reminded that you are sharing a wall with our neighbor, and that there are full-time residents in the complex.<br /><br />There is no AC in the unit. We have several fans throughout the townhouse.<br /><br />Be sure to remove food from your vehicle and avoid storing food on the first floor of the townhome. Bears are very active in the summer. Some have entered townhome in the early AM hours in search of food. Please be vigilant.<br /><br />The property owner takes reasonable precautions to ensure the property is free from unauthorized surveillance equipment prior to each rental period. The owner is not liable for any items or devices brought onto the premises by renters or their guests.
