Very nice place we enjoyed our stay

All good and as described.

Our stay was wonderful and as expected. Thomas was very responsive to any of our questions. It was a 7 minute up hill walk to the lifts, do-able carrying skiis and in ski boots. Be sure to bring a lock for the ski locker, as one is not provided.

We were a bit disappointed finding out it wasn't a true ski in/out. It was about a 10 min walk to the lift. On top of that the sofabed despite being a sofabed was pretty uncomfortable and run down. Also, there were no blankets for the sofabed so we had to scrape together some extra linens from the rooms to make up something. Lastly, hot tubs were closed during our stay there. A bit disappointing but overall place is very clean and had most of what we needed.

Thomas was an excellent host, responds very quickly to all of my questions. The condo unit was easy to find, airport shuttle dropped us off right to front door of the Lodge (front of lodge doors are always open, with a small waiting area with sofa if you arrive early before checkin time). Rooms are spacious and unit was very clean. Full kitchen for easy cooking. Showers have plenty of hot water. Comfy beds and lots of free tv options. Fast wifi speeds, spacious heated ski locker in basement. Fernie shuttle (not free) comes right to front of the lodge, but only after 5pm (regular daytime hours you have to walk to main resort area). Only con is the location is not tru ski-in/ski-out. You have to walk close to 10 minutes uphill to go from the condo unit to the main ski resort lift areas (further if you want to walk to either Timber chair or Elk chair). Coming back is easier, and faster if you go under tunnel past Timber chair and ski along groomed path just behind some houses.
