Ma'alaea Kai is a well-maintained small complex on a cul de sac road so there is minimal traffic. There is a large, lovely lawn with lounge chairs, a pool and BBQ area. <br />The famous "Freight trains" surf spot is right outside your front door!<br />Ma'alaea is centrally located. Less that 15 minutes to the airport, 10 minutes to Kihei, easy access to the whole island. <br />There is a lovely beach park, Haycroft Park, just a 5 minute walk down the road and Ma'alaea Harbor, Maui Ocean Center Aquarium, shops, restaurants and Starbucks just a 5 minute walk the other way. Easy access to boats for scuba, snorkeling, fishing or sunset cruises! You can walk along the shoreline for miles ...and visit the Kealia pond bird sanctuary.<br />Hawaiian Green Sea turtles hang out right near the sea wall and provide awesome viewing all year round. The Humpback whales play in the waters just off shore from Dec. - April every year. <br />The Seaside Surf Spot faces east allowing for spectacular sunrise and moonrise views over Haleakala, Ma'alaea bay and Sugar Beach.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />The entire one bedroom, one bath condo is all yours.
