Reminiscent of Hawaii’s paniolo history, the hotel and its rooms are designed with an equestrian flair and furnished with antique east-Asian decor. While a rare, quiet getaway in Waikīkī, guests will discover there’s plenty to do nearby, whether it’s shopping and dining at Ala Moana, one of the nation’s largest shopping malls, spending the day in the sun at Magic Island Beach Park, or sailing at the nearby Ala Wai marina. We also encourage our guests to make the beautiful drive to our sister property, Hawai’i Polo Club up on the North Shore, to watch the seasonal polo matches, take polo lessons, or enjoy a spectacular horseback trail ride. Comfortable, timeless, and personable, The Equus is truly a hidden gem in the heart of Honolulu.

Guest access
Room and Hotel Amenities:
NO Resort Fee!
Daily Housekeeping
Complimentary welcome beverage/cocktail
High-Speed Wi-Fi
Refrigerator
Pillow Top Beds
Handmade Italian Mascioni Duvet Comforters
Flat Screen LCD HDTV
Clock/Radio with iPod Port
Direct Dial Telephone
Keurig Coffee Maker
Ultra Quiet Split-Air Systems
Earth Tempo Bath Amenities
Hair Dryer
Iron & Ironing Board
In-Room Safe

Other things to note
There is parking below the building ($30 plus tax per night) but it is on a first come first serve basis with limited stalls. Although it is first come first serve we have extra stalls in the gated garage next door to us so if there is nothing immediately below our building open our guest service team may guide you next door to another secure spot.

In the rare occurrence parking is full, other options for parking in the area are off property and at your own risk. Neighborhood parking behind the hotel on Ala Wai Blvd, Hobron lane or Lipe’epe’e st. are the best options for overnight. These are densely populated areas and it’s best to try and find parking before 4pm. Across the street from us behind the red lobster is a secure self-parking lot. The charge is around $20/night. We want to share this information just in case of a full lot and we want you to know all options are accessible and in easy walking distance.

Registration Details
260110200008, TA-055-058-2272-01
