Old famous Rocky Point Nest located in the backyard of this special Heavenly area home. Spacious single level living, proudly owned home on half an acre lot. The lot is boulder studded, and backs to hundred of acres of Forest Service land.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />No Loud Parties allowed due to SLT Enforcement (see link below). Both owner and renter will be fined $1,500 by SLT law enforcement. See the "City of SLT" website for more information.<br /><br />Please note that our nightly rates include the City of South Lake Tahoe's 12% transient occupancy tax.<br /><br />Luxurious living, a cozy mountain setting, and original construction set this South Lake Tahoe home apart from the rest. Conveniently located on a quiet, winding road in the Heavenly Valley neighborhood, our house is only 0.7 miles to Heavenly Village and State Line’s casinos. With only a two-minute drive to Heavenly’s California Lodge, you will be the first in line for the Gondola, Gunbarrel Express, or the Aerial Tramway.<br /><br />Inside are over 1850 square feet of cozy living space. We have a well-equipped kitchen with tile counters, a gas stove, and newer appliances, offering a breakfast sitting area and opening into a dining room with large picture windows looking into beautiful lake Tahoe. Turn your head to the family room for great views of the national forest. As part of our interior design, we share our space with Brother Bear - a unique Black Bear species that are local to California wildlife. Our guests are welcome to take pictures with him, but please don't touch him or try to climb on him. This area also includes a large dining table and a decorative fireplace. Off of the family room, you will find a large deck with gas and charcoal grills, "Corn Hole" game, and patio furniture with an umbrella (during summer season). The two master suites and two bathrooms are located far apart from the living room. Please note that charcoal barbecue and fire pits use is prohibited by City of South Lake Tahoe during summer months, due to high fire risk.<br /><br />Our home can comfortably accommodate 8 people, up to 4 adults and up to 5 kids 13 years old and younger. We will not accept parties larger than 8. There are a king and twin size beds (bunk bed) in one master suite with an available pack-and-play for little ones under 2-year-olds. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a bunk-style bed (full/twin combination). There is also a queen-sized sofa sleeper in the living room.<br />Please do not book with us if you are looking for a place to party. This is our home and we are hoping for guests that will treat it as their home.<br /><br />We are looking for three-night minimums over the weekends and two night minimum over the weekdays, with a longer stay required over holidays (4 nights minimum). <br /><br />Thank you.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />Main living space including living room, dining room,kitchen , utility room, 2 master bedrooms and a two car garage.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Our home is geared towards families and groups of 4 adults and up to 5 kids (13 years old or younger) or less looking to relax and enjoy all the activities Lake Tahoe has to offer.
