PLEASE INQUIRE FOR FURTHER DETAILS.<br /><br />This unit is on the ground floor and is accessed from the outside via an open air walkway minimizing your contact with others.<br /><br />Our special condo was completely renovated in the summer of 2017 with high quality appliances and fixtures.  There are tile floors through out the unit. The kitchen has all new stainless appliances and a large granite counter top/breakfast bar for eating in.  Or dine al fresco on the lanai with seating for four. The condo has A/C in the Master bedroom and living room. Also, ceiling fans are located in each room making warmer days a breeze.  A reserved parking spot is conveniently located just steps from the unit.<br /><br />Puako is a quaint, quiet historical community known for its relaxed local beach culture. Puako is a beach community unlike the resort areas on the Kohala Coast, with seven unique beach access points along the two mile stretch of homes.  The Puako Condo building is a unique fixture along Puako Beach Drive as there are no other buildings aside from houses, a country store and two churches. The condo is conveniently located next door to the historic and friendly family-owned Puako General Store, where you can buy food, cold drinks, prepared meals, rent DVDs, and more.<br />Full access of the condo, the pool and the grounds. Conveniently located on the ground floor, close to your assigned parking spot and pool!<br /><br />The beach is right across the street. It’s perfect for snorkeling and is home to many honu (sea turtles). Wake up for the sunrise over Mauna Kea and see the turtles sunning themselves on the rocks. Just a 200 yard walk from your front door. And, in the same spot, is the best sunset on the island. It’s magical. Puako reef is also recognized as one of the best scuba areas in all of Hawaii. Stand-Up Paddleboards and kayaks are available for rent nearby.<br /><br />Ocean adventures (whale watching, swim with wild dolphins, and manta ray snorkeling) are available from the Puako Boat Ramp, five minutes (or less) from your door.<br /><br />Guests can relax at the property pool and indulge in a BBQ grill for a prefect island retreat.<br /><br />PLEASE NOTE: This unit has ONE dedicated parking stall. Please consider renting a larger vehicle to accommodate all of your party. There is NO street parking allowed for vacation rentals according to local regulations. A secondary parking stall within the designating building parking lot MAY be an option but cannot be guaranteed for the duration of your stay or designated until shortly before your arrival. IF and as available, the additional parking stall within the designating building parking lot will be assessed an additional, daily fee. Please inquire directly, shortly before your arrival, for further information and potential availability.<br /><br />Please keep in mind that Guest is in a very small and peaceful residential neighborhood. Noise carries over quiet landscapes and near water. Noise carries over quiet landscapes and near water. IBR asks that Guest and Guest’s children respect Property neighbors' privacy, peace and quiet. Guests are asked to adhere to the “Good Neighbor Policy” as follows: quiet hours shall be from 9:00 p.m. - 8:00 a.m. during which time the noise from the short term vacation rental shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors. Sound that is audible beyond the Property boundaries during non-quiet hours shall not be more excessive than would be otherwise associated with a residential area.<br /><br />NON-SMOKING RENTAL<br />This is a non-smoking rental. No smoking is allowed inside any of the buildings on the Property. No cigarette butts in gravel or yard.<br /><br />PLEASE KEEP SCREENS AND DOORS TIGHTLY CLOSED TO PREVENT PESTS FROM ENTERING THE HOME. IBR homes are treated on a regular basis; however, pests are a normal part of life in the tropics. Please let IBR know right away if Guest has any issues. IBR will do its best to remedy. The owner retains the services of a professional pest control company for the purpose of maintaining insect control in and around the premises, on a regular basis. However, this Property is in the "Tropics" and insects and rodents can be resistant to complete eradication. IBR cannot guaranty complete control over Mother Nature's insects and rodents and will not issue any refunds due to the sighting of insects and/or rodents.<br /><br />SUPPLIES<br />As part of our commitment to ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable stay for our guest, we provide a complimentary set of initial supplies (paper goods and soaps) upon your arrival. These supplies are intended to help you get started and make your transition into our accommodation as smooth as possible.  After your initial supply is depleted, it is your responsibility to replenish any additional supplies needed for the duration of your stay.<br /><br />TRAFFIC<br />Please DRIVE SLOWLY in our neighborhoods. The speed limits are 10 mph to 25 mph and there are many children and adult pedestrians and bicyclists.<br /><br />USE OF PROPERTY<br />Guest may use the home only as a place of vacation. Guest may not use it for commercial purposes, for any unlawful, improper, offensive purpose or illegal activity. Please refer to Guest Book upon arrival for details and instructions concerning use of pool, spa, and/or air conditioning if these amenities are available at the rented Property.<br /><br />NO PETS OR ANIMALS ALLOWED<br /><br />NEIGHBORHOOD CONSTRUCTION<br />IBR is not responsible for any construction noise or inconvenience that may occur during Guest stay. No refunds will be given. Although IBR cannot guarantee full knowledge of any planned or current construction occurring, Guest may contact IBR (90) days prior to Guest arrival to inquire if IBR is aware of construction adjacent to the Property occurring and Guest may choose to cancel at that time IF there is construction occurring that may affect the Property UNLESS Guest has already been made aware of construction during time of or shortly after Guest booking was made.<br /><br />When securing Guest booking with payment Guest is consenting to have read, understood and accepted all the terms and conditions of our Island Beach Rentals, LLC.
