Enjoy 880 acres of pristine gardens, walking paths, golf courses and beaches in this stunning and relaxing renovated condo, furnished with exclusive designer furniture.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />With pristine beaches, two championship golf courses, two swimming pools, tennis, horseback riding, snorkeling, surfing, a 5-star resort hotel and 12 miles of hiking, biking and jogging trails there are endless activities for you to enjoy during your stay here at the Turtle Bay Resort. World class visitor attractions and championship surfing competitions are a short 5 to 10-minute drive away.<br /><br />Or perhaps you want to simply relax in your newly renovated condo appointed with exclusive designer furniture, cool porcelain tiles, Hawaiian koa pieces and original art works from Polynesia and Micronesia. <br /><br />Need to work during your stay? We have outfitted the space with an optional fold-out, stand up desk to do your work on the patio, overlooking the plumeria trees, torch ginger, various native / endemic plants and wide-open field with tropical greenery. The space is quiet with no foot traffic. The wifi internet is the fastest available from Spectrum, allowing for up to 6 devices streaming and/or videoconferencing from each end of the unit.<br /><br />A good night’s rest after a full day is important: You will enjoy a luxury latex California King with cool down pillows. We have 700 thread count Sustainably and Responsibly Sourced cotton sheets. For two friends traveling together, the couch in the living room has a pull out memory foam full sized bed.<br /><br />Please note: Due to a building piping alteration, as of September 2023 we had to renovate the unit and have updated the tiles, paint, bathroom and patio slightly from the original unit as photographed and evidenced in the professional photos in our photo gallery and taken in June 2021. Photos taken with iPhone are interspersed in the photo gallery in which you’ll note a lighter tiling and a gray-white hue to the paint. We are awaiting an update on another photographer photo session soon.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />Many guests ask about Turtle Bay Resort and what is and is not available to you while staying at Pua Oriana. For this I am here to help! Most of the Resort amenities are accessible and available to short term renters of Kuilima Estates— such as restaurants, bars, horses back riding, surf lessons, golf, beach and spa. Kuilima Estates are separate but the resort is open to the public and is a short walk away (we are all one big community). The walk is approximately 5 mins. <br /><br />What is a bit difficult is the Resorts pools… We have 4 pools on the Kuilima Estates property, and Turtle Bay has 3. The beautiful Resort pool bar is open to Kuilima guests, and while the pool is meant to be reserved for Resort guests, I have known many at the Resort to be lenient to those that are paying for food and or drink from the Poolside bar :-). So while not a guarantee, hopefully helpful!<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Pricing and Value is always of question for people when the come to Hawaii. Hawaii is considered “expensive” for many, and if you’ve been to some newer destinations with newer condos and hotels (think Bali) some people are wondering what is the appeal. <br /><br />For us, it’s the culture, the location, the safety and security (as a US state), and the food and drink that make Hawaii a hard destination to beat. Pua Oriana is part of Kuilima Estates here on the north shore of Oahu which were finished in the 70s / 80s. The lush landscaping and the shared development with Turtle Bay Resort mean that the location is well kept albeit 40+ years old. The interiors of the condo have recently been redone and we have poured our culture and our hearts into its details. <br /><br />Because housing and short term stays are so limited on the north shore of Oahu, our pricing reflects that and fluctuates with market demand. Sometimes nightly rates are lower, sometimes they are higher, often selected by Airbnb algorithm. We really want to be honest and open — that what sets Pua Oriana apart is our commitment to making you feel comfortable, and that you can access treasures of Hawaii that only a Hawaiian / Polynesian family with roots here can provide.
