It’s more than a place to stay—it’s a place to participate. Nestled in a breathtaking valley in Koʻolauloa on Oʻahu’s North Shore, this secluded camping-style yurt sits on a working agricultural property dedicated to mālama ʻāina and Native Hawaiian education. Each stay includes our Mālama ʻĀina Program—a guided, hands-on experience caring for the land. The beach is a 10–12 minute walk away, with North Shore beaches, local food trucks, and scenic hikes just a short drive away.

The space
This is a rustic camping experience designed for guests who enjoy nature, simplicity, and spending time outdoors.

Your private cabin provides a comfortable place to rest while shared outdoor bathrooms, cold-water outdoor showers, and community fire pits allow you to experience the property as it was intended.

There is no kitchen on site, but excellent local food trucks, restaurants, grocery stores, and beaches are all just minutes away.

The property is intentionally kept peaceful and is cared for with respect. It sits near a wahi pana (storied and culturally significant place), and we look forward to sharing the history of the valley with those who visit.

Guest access
Please let us know how many beds you will need and we will prepare the space accordingly.

Other things to note
Please remember that this is a nature-based camping experience rather than a hotel or resort.

Every guest participates in one session of our Mālama ʻĀina Program during their stay (approximately one hour, offered on weekdays each week). During the program, we'll share the history of the valley, discuss why this place is significant, and participate in a simple land stewardship activity.

This is not volunteer labor or strenuous work. It's an opportunity to better understand the place you're visiting and to leave it a little better than you found it.

We ask all guests to treat the land, neighboring community, and cultural sites with care and respect. Mahalo—we look forward to welcoming you.

Registration Details
570010130000, TA-456-789-3211-12
