There's a beautiful oceanfront heated swimming pool as well as a nice grassy area just above the strand with lounge chairs to lay out and soak in the sun. <br /><br />I say oceanfront, not beachfront, because we have lined the sand directly in front of the condo with sandbags to help protect it from erosion. Depending on the season and your comfort level, you can walk right across the sandbags to the sand or walk 3 minutes south on the sandbags to a nice beach with plenty of room for chairs and towels as well as some excellent surfing. There are also several WORLD-CLASS beaches easily accessible in under a 10-minute drive such as Kaanapali, Napili, and Kapalua.<br /><br />**BUILDING AMENITIES & PARKING**<br />Parking is $18/day+tax and must be paid upon arrival at the front desk. This is the only fee not included in the total price here on Airbnb. All other taxes and amenities are included in the final booking price. There is an electric charger right across the street at the Shell gas station for EV's.<br /><br />The building has fast elevators, a large heated pool with new loungers and 5 adjacent well-maintained BBQs, a small gym, free luggage carts, cheap weekly snorkel gear rentals across the street, and much more. Even a filtered water bottle fill station and free morning coffee in the lobby. If you're bringing your own surfboards, the boards are not allowed in the unit (this is the building's rule, not mine) however you can easily have it locked safely in the basement storage, just ask the front desk or security.<br /><br />**INSIDE THE CONDO**<br />Smoke-free environment. There's a super comfy king-size bed, ultra-plush pillows, and the room comes equipped with all the essentials for a relaxing island vacation. VERY FAST WI-FI up to 115 Mbps, a large 55" Roku/Netflix/Amazon ready TV (just sign in to your account), cable TV, a new stovetop oven, microwave, fridge and freezer, plates, utensils, coffee maker, blender, soaps, towels, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, beach chairs/towels, etc.<br /><br />You'll also have access to your own washer and dryer in the unit!<br /><br />**CHECK-IN/OUT**<br />ELECTRONIC KEYCARD ENTRY TO CONDO<br />Check-in anytime after 4 pm. On the front door, there is a simple lockbox with a 5 digit code. Inside is an electronic keycard for unlocking the door. There are additional keycards and wristbands inside the condo to carry with you during your stay. I normally send the code one week before arrival. No need to worry about meeting someone to pick up/ drop off keys, just stop by the front desk upon arrival and pick up your parking pass, then head up to your room.<br /><br />You may check out anytime before 10 am. Please wash any dishes and take your trash to the trash chute down the hall (across from unit 1009). That's it!<br /><br />**KIDS**<br />My condo has been decorated with adults in mind, there is a glass table and some heavier/fragile decorations that could be unsafe for small children. There are no child locks on the cabinets. This is also an oceanfront property with no lifeguard.<br /><br />**MAJOR USA HOLIDAYS**<br />Reservations checking in/out on Thanksgiving Day (November), Christmas Day (12/25), New Year's Day (01/01), and July 4th will be subject to an additional $75 cleaning surcharge to provide my housekeeper holiday pay.<br /><br />***This property is Hotel Zoned and NOT in danger of any possible short term rental ban.***<br /><br />Still not sure about your travel dates? The common areas are the heated oceanfront pool, 5 oceanfront and well-maintained BBQs, lobby, parking, and gym.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Maui is a tropical island and does tend to have bugs and ants during certain times of the year. Although the exterior of the building is routinely treated to help combat this issue and the condo is thoroughly cleaned between each guest, it greatly helps if you leave the screens shut and don't leave any food out to avoid unwanted creatures.<br /><br />My condo is independently managed and not part of a hotel. There are some conveniences, such as daily linen service, that the large hotels provide and I simply can't offer. My goal is to provide a home-away-from-home, relaxed island stay.<br /><br />South Korea: I am sorry, but I am no longer able to accept reservations booked by guests with accounts located in South Korea.
