Ocean Temple Oceanfront is located at the Pacific Ocean where you will see and hear the ocean all day and night, and where the peace and serenity are exceptional! A short walk across a magical lava field brings you to a private black sand beach (not for swimming) with miles and miles of state-owned Pacific Oceanfront shoreline, all yours to enjoy! The sunrises and sunsets are exceptional!<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />Ocean Temple is an open floor plan, with large picture windows looking out to the ocean and gardens.<br />It is located in a house, and it is the fully contained ground floor suite. Bali Temple is located on the 2nd floor.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />Guests will be provided with an access keypad combination prior to their arrival.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Please be prepared for the remote location of this quiet sanctuary.<br /><br />There is no kitchen, so please plan accordingly. Here are some favorite food options are: <br />There are many restaurants in Pahoa, 9 miles away. <br />Uncle Robert's is 1/2 mile away, and it has the well-stocked Kaimu Convenience Store.<br />A coffee, smoothie and sandwich shop is located across the parking area of the Kaimu Convenience Store.<br />Across the cul-de-sac is the Kaimu Farmer's Market every Saturday morning, 8 to 12, with lots of food. <br />Many local caterers would delight in preparing a special meal for you. I can put you in touch with them!<br /><br />Before I created Ocean Temple, this property was a part of a Buddhist's Meditation Retreat.
