The Lahaina area and the Kaanapali area are recovering from the 2023 fires. Most of the restaurants and shops in the Kaanapali area are open. <br />It is without a doubt tragic, and the charming town of Lahaina is sorely missed. We can’t help but stress that Maui is still beautiful, and this is an opportunity to explore other areas on the island. <br /> <br />The Aloha Spirit is very much alive as the entire island welcomes the return of visitors.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />At Hale Ono Loa you will feel as if you are in your own secluded paradise. Our forth floor condo #405 is on the top floor. This one bedroom, one bath unit was completely remodeled and features tropical furnishings, top-grade appliances, including a dishwasher. The bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower, granite vanity, and from the bedroom you can lie in the Cal-King bed and enjoy the sounds of the surf. The condo includes: free parking, wifi, TV and is equipped with beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and a large cooler.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />Relax on our spacious 4th floor lanai. It’s the perfect place to enjoy the sunrise, eat your meals, read a book, take a nap, or watch the sun as it sets over blue waters of the Au'au channel between Maui and the island of Lanai. <br /><br />The private large pool and sun deck area is surrounded with large coconut palms and numerous tropical plants. These tropical gardens are well maintained; giving you the feeling that you are a part of Old Hawaii. This area is located on the ocean and will provide you with many hours of comfort and relaxation.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />During the whale season (November through April) you can watch whales and spinning Dolphins from the sun deck or your lanai. The reef located in front of our complex provides an excellent opportunity for snorkeling, surfing, or just plain watching the surfers and turtles.
