This is a completely fenced-in, private 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom unit, accessed by a gate-code for the fence as well as key-code for the rental unit. Take in the fresh Hawaiian air, enjoy the warm Kona sun, and be inspired by the rich history of old Kailua Village. Convenient and walkable to shops, grocery, & good eats. Then walk to Kailua Bay for a swim at the starting line of the annual Ironman competition.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />Mailan has large living spaces and a private balcony with a nice view of the Pacific Ocean, particular at sunset. Set in a convenient location in Kona near shops, beaches, coffee farms, the KOA airport, all Big Island activities, and much more.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />This listing is for one entire and private apartment, not the entire of the building. The other units will be occupied by other guests or host. Guest do not get an entire "building". Front & back yard, Laundry, deck, patio are shared.<br />Neighbors have pet cats that come over to our property unannounced and uninvited. Hawaii is also home to spiders, geckos, various tropical birds and mongooses, ect,…which may visit the property unannounced and uninvited. Guests may have an opportunity to see them around the building. Guests are not permitted to invite the bunny, cats, mongooses, birds, geckos, or spiders into the rental unit.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Storage available to guests for limited time before check in and after check out. Just ask!<br /><br />This is a hosted rental.<br /><br />Wildlife & Furry Visitors Notice:<br />Please be aware that some of our neighboring pet cats—and the occasional wild cat—may wander onto the property unannounced and uninvited. In addition, Hawaii is home to a variety of island wildlife, including geckos, spiders, tropical birds, mongooses, and more. You may spot these curious creatures around the building during your stay.<br /><br />While they may be cute, quirky, or even entertaining, we kindly ask that guests do not invite any animals—including cats, bunnies, birds, geckos, spiders, or mongooses—into the rental unit. Let’s keep the indoors guest-only!<br /><br />Please Note:<br />For the comfort, safety, and privacy of all our guests and neighbors, we kindly ask that you do not bring third-party service providers (such as private chefs, massage therapists, event planners, etc.) into the home during your stay.
