PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE LISTING FOR INFORMATION ABOUT CONSTRUCTION BEFORE BOOKING. Stay right on the beach in beautiful Punalu'u on Oahu's luscious east side. One bedroom condo apartment has an onsite pool, fitness center, 24 hour security, assigned parking, wifi, and cable. Recently renovated apartment is close to hiking, numerous secluded beaches, the PCC, and Oahu's North Shore.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />This cozy apartment has a bedroom and bath separated from the kitchen/living area by a wall. A small deck has obstructed ocean views, but is still a pleasant place to relax in the afternoon. <br /><br />The apartment is all yours. Step out the back slider and you’re steps from the beach. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook or bake. Linens and beach towels are provided for everyone in your party.<br /><br />There is construction occurring throughout 2025/2026. There may be loud construction noise between the hours of 8:30-5. This includes jack hammering. The water may be shut off during construction as well. Pool, gym, and access to the apartment may be limited due to construction. Please be aware when booking.<br /><br />Make use of the on-site gym, pool, grassy area, and beach. A small convenience store is within walking distance, as well as the best Thai food on the island. <br /><br />If you are adventurous, we are located close to Kahana bay and Kahana valley where you can surf, kayak, and hike. Grab lunch or dinner at Keneke’s. It’s the total local experience and the food is really good! Other great hikes are within an easy drive. <br /><br />Tamura’s grocery store and Long’s drugstore can be found at the shopping center 5 minutes away in Hauula. You’ll also find a post office and Papa Ole’s for plate lunch or a burger.<br /><br />Another 5 minutes north in Laie you will find the Polynesian Cultural Center. Enjoy a day learning about the islands of Polynesia. Pounders restaurant has a great vegetarian pizza and their ulu mash is amazing. Take home a bottle of their lilikoi dressing. It’s so good! <br /><br />Keep driving north to visit the beaches of the north shore. Starting with Turtle Bay and Kawela Bay, Velzyland, Sunset beach, Pipeline, Shark’s Cove for snorkeling, Waimea bay, and ending in Haleiwa. Grab a pie at Ted’s just past v-land, shave ice at Matsumoto’s in Haleiwa, and for a little known treat drive 10 minutes more to Waialua and get a snow puffy at Paalaa bakery.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />You have access to the entire apartment. Shared spaces are the pool and gym. The pool and gym may have shortened hours or be unavailable due to construction. Please contact me for the most up to date info<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Noise travels up and down, so keep conversations quiet and inane when on the back porch. You will learn much about your neighbors who don’t do this. <br /><br />There are spalling repairs and plumbing repairs being done throughout 2025-2026. Expect construction noise between 8-5, Monday through Friday. There may be jackhammering along with saws, drills, and hammers so please do not book if you depend on quiet time during the week from 8-5. There will also be periodic water shutoff during the day.<br />For guests stays between Feb16-June 26, 2026, the parking lot and pipes underneath are being replaced.
