Located in Portola District, a quiet residential neighborhood, the suite is steps from a recreation center with basketball and tennis courts, a baseball field, playground, and community programs. McLaren Park is nearby. Public transportation is within walking distance, and Highways 101 and 280 are easily accessible, making it convenient to explore the city and surrounding Bay Area.<br /><br />**Nearby McLaren Park**<br />McLaren Park, San Francisco's second-largest park, is just minutes away. The park offers playgrounds, picnic areas, sports courts, the Jerry Garcia Amphitheater, a golf course, McNab Lake, and the newly renovated Coffman Pool. With over 7 miles of walking trails across 312 acres, visitors can enjoy scenic meadows, wetlands, native plants, and local wildlife.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />The suite includes your private bedroom with attached luxurious bathroom and kitchenette. The backyard is shared (deck exclusively is yours to use) but rarely ever used by us! The hallway to the unit is shared with one other Airbnb unit.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Please note that while this guest suite is completely private with its own entrance, there is another Airbnb suite adjacent to the unit. My family and I live in the home above, including our two young children. As with most family homes in San Francisco, you may occasionally hear muffled voices, footsteps, or other everyday household sounds during your stay. Our children are typically awake between 6:00 and 7:00 AM and leave for school by 8:00 AM on weekdays, so some morning activity may be noticeable. If you are a light sleeper or require complete silence, this suite may not be the best fit.<br /><br />The hallway leading to the unit is shared with one other Airbnb suite.<br /><br />Infants (ages 0–2) are considered additional guests and will incur an additional fee of $50 per infant, per day.<br /><br />A baby bassinet (up to 20 lbs. or 5 months old) and bottle warmer may be available upon request, subject to availability. Please request these items in advance.<br /><br />Washer and dryer access is not available on-site; however, there are several nearby laundromats.<br /><br />Street cleaning on our block takes place every Tuesday (across the street) and Thursday (our side of the street) from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.<br /><br />Absolutely no parties. Only registered guests listed on the reservation are permitted on the property. Additional visitors will incur a fee of $100 per person, per calendar day.<br /><br />No smoking, vaping, or odor-producing activities are permitted on the premises. Additional cleaning fees may apply.<br /><br />Any large or bulky items left behind after checkout that cannot fit in our standard trash bins (e.g., luggage, furniture, or oversized boxes) will incur a disposal fee of $50 per item.<br /><br />Please note that security cameras are installed in exterior common areas for the safety and security of our guests and property. There are no cameras inside the unit.
