Thoughtful additions include wine, martini, and champagne glasses, a pineapple corer, a lemon juicer, hydroflasks, water bottles, plastic poolside tumblers, a dish drying rack, a knife sharpener, and even chip clips. In addition, basic supplies like tea, salt, pepper, olive oil, an assortment of popular spices, coffee filters, and miscellaneous baking ingredients can all be found onsite. <br /><br />~ The bathroom features a tiled floor, a hardwired, “touch to light” mirror, a custom tiled walk-in shower with mosaic glass inserts, and a handheld, multi-function shower wand. Additionally, we provide shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand soap, cotton balls, Q-Tips, a makeup mirror, black “makeup” washcloths, a toothbrush and toothpaste holder, and even a hairdryer.<br /><br />~ The private lanai is equipped with a table, two comfortable chairs, and an area rug: it’s perfect for resting, reading, enjoying a cold beverage, and/or outdoor dining. <br /><br />~ Surf Nest features plenty of homestyle amenities that you are sure to enjoy. Do as much as you want or as little as you desire.<br /><br />~ For your convenience, we happily include ample dish soap, garbage bags, dishwasher detergent, sponges, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, Qtips, cotton balls, coffee filters, tea, and hand soap. In addition, we provide "starter kit" supplies in the bathroom and the main kitchen. Upon arrival, you will find 2 fresh rolls of toilet paper and 1 fresh roll of paper towels for the kitchen. This will be enough to get you "started". Our goal by providing "starter kits" for household paper products is to prevent the necessity for you to have to shop for these items during your first couple of days in paradise; after all, you are on vacation. There is also a "Pay It Forward" shelf where guests are welcome to leave their unused, non-perishable grocery items.<br /><br />~ For your convenience, there is a coin and credit card operated laundromat on site with 20 full-size machines. Please note that we do not provide laundry detergent as it's a personal preference item.<br /><br />~ To help save our guests money, we have proudly partnered up with a local vendor offering Maui activities, adventures, and experiences at incredibly low and affordable prices. We are also happy to offer many amenities right onsite. These include a swimming pool, jacuzzi, bbq area, tennis court, outdoor showers, outdoor restrooms, a community laundry room with brand new washers and dryers that arrived 06/04/2026, plus outdoor bicycle and outdoor kayak racks.<br /><br />~ We offer beach chairs, beach towels, beach umbrella, beach bag, and a cooler. For hygiene reasons, we don’t provide shared snorkel equipment — Rafael, our activity partner, can arrange guided snorkel tours for you. Additionally, we have many locally owned, rental facilities right in Kihei that offer snorkel equipment. <br /><br />Kihei Food Oasis at South Maui Gardens is just a couple miles south on South Kihei Road and Alahele Street. There are lots of food trucks there, and they are open 7 days a week from 11am to 8pm with live music every Saturday.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Due to our property cleaners’ schedules and our regularly scheduled condo maintenance items, early check-ins and late checkouts cannot be accommodated at this time. Almost all of our bookings are back to back (same day in, same day out) which makes things trickier. If you have a late flight out or an early flight in, we highly recommend that you consider booking an extra night if it’s available to better accommodate your flight schedule if you want to arrive early or depart late. It is a known fact that sunny Kihei has the best climate in Maui – warm weather year-round with the lowest precipitation on the Island! In addition, Kihei is known as the pivoting point to all Maui activities. With six miles of sun-kissed beaches, it's no secret why Kihei has boomed into the island's largest tourist destination. <br /><br />🤙🤙Why Staying in Kihei Should Be Your Top Choice🤙🤙<br /><br />Kihei is located on the sunny South side.<br /><br />Kihei has six miles of Sunkissed beaches.<br /><br />Kihei is less crowded.<br /><br />Kihei is considered to be much more “authentic Maui”. <br /><br />Kihei is more laid back.<br /><br />The longest beach walk in Maui is in Kihei. <br /><br />Kihei is more private, intimate, and affordable. <br /><br />Kihei has the least amount of rain of anywhere on Island and is much more laid back. <br /><br />Kihei is closer to: Haleakala (hiking), road to Hana, Iao Valley, and the airport. <br /><br />Kihei is also closer to Paia, Makawao, Upcountry, Kahului, and Maalaea. <br /><br />Kihei is only 15 minutes from the main airport in Kahului and Kaanapali is an hour. <br /><br />Kihei (the condo area of the south side) has more family restaurants than the condo area of the west side. <br /><br />Wailea (the luxury area of the south side) is a quieter area than Kaanapali (the luxury area of the west side). <br /><br />Higher end resorts like Four Seasons, Andaz, Grand Wailea, and Kealani are all in Wailea which is just 5 miles away from Kihei. <br /><br />Wailea also has world class golf courses and an award winning spa. <br /><br />The nicest shopping is also in Wailea (very upscale). <br /><br />Only one road in and out of the west side and if the road gets shut down due to an accident, you could be trapped.
