Nothing has been updated recently but is always clean. Most everybody, including myself, loves my place. Rarely a guest, based on their review, expects a totally updated property with low price. Understand that the bed in the living room is a moderately expensive futon, which I often sleep on, it is not a high-end Hästens mattress. Rarely, small fixes come up which I can get somebody out there asap. There are three lawn chairs on the Lanai. The condo interior and the complex is not new. Because of a tropical climate rust can pop up unannounced.. but please let me know. Because of the climate, currently there are a couple spots that need paint touch-ups.<br /><br />Because Hawaii is a very tropical, humid, warm climate, there are critters and insects around often. As far as ants just make sure that there won't be any food left out.
