Your beautiful rental features brand new appliances and furniture, which were purchased in late 2024.<br /><br />Past guests have loved the panoramic Pacific Ocean views from the lanai, the nightly lullabies of the rainforest, and the proximity to the best that Kailua Kona has to offer. We also hear rave reviews about the outdoor shower at the back of the home, the brand-new jacuzzi, and abundance of nearby<br /><br />We know that the powerful mana of the Kona Coffee Belt will have you feeling refreshed and re-energized in no time<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />The entire Olu’Olu Hale was renovated in 2024 with a focus on bringing you the best, state-of-the art amenities to maximize your comfort and enjoyment. We created a new home that emphasizes the natural beauty and location of this home.<br /><br />Inside, you’ll find that each room has brand new AC, a private bathroom with smart mirrors, modern countertops/faucets, dedicated fans, and ample space to spread out.<br /> <br />We provide fresh linens and new, cooling memory foam pillows on top of a high-end mattress, so you can get a good night’s sleep. Essential bathroom toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided.<br /><br />The first bedroom has a king-size bed and another couch-bed, and comes equipped with a space to comfortably store luggage. <br /><br />The second bedroom features a king sized bed, and is equipped with a desk, and chair in the room. <br /><br />You can see the sun rise and sunset across 25 miles of Kona coastline from your bed, with views that stretch 50 miles to the horizon between the sea and sky.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Using Air Conditioning<br /><br />We are located in the middle of the famous Kona Coffee belt. It is usually 5-8 degrees cooler up here with the gentle breeze that comes off the mountain day and night.<br /><br />However, every room and living room have independent ACs, Please help us be eco-conscious and only run the AC when you are at home! <br />---<br /><br />There are also lounge chairs (4), a beach umbrella, and 1 boogie boards in the front deck area for guests to enjoy. <br /><br />Plus, you can use the outdoor private shower with hot water for you to rinse off after taking a dip!<br /><br />Quiet Hours: Kailua-Kona has a noise curfew between the hours of 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Please be respectful of our neighbors and let the sounds of the island carry you to sleep.<br /><br />Generally, our neighborhood is serene and quiet: the only neighbors you’ll hear are the wildlife!<br /><br />Note: A violation of this rule may result in a fine of up to $200.<br /><br />As part of a super-quiet residential community, these rules are important to us and your neighbors.<br /><br />HOUSE RULES<br />No Smoking: Smoking, vaping, or any tobacco use is strictly prohibited indoors.<br />No Pets: Pets are not allowed.<br />Close the doors and windows when the AC is on<br />Shoes Off: Please remove your shoes when entering the house.<br />Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.<br />No Parties or Events: No parties or gatherings are allowed. If neighbors are disturbed, the police may be called, and fines may be assessed.<br />Report Damages: Please inform us immediately of any damages that occur during your stay.<br />KITCHEN & APPLIANCES<br />Dishwashers: Do not run both dishwashers at the same time.<br />Microwave & Air Fryer: Avoid using the microwave and air fryer simultaneously.<br />Dishes & Cleanup: Before checkout, load used dishes, pots, and pans into the dishwasher.<br />HOT TUB RULES<br />Shower Before Use: Please shower before entering the hot tub to maintain cleanliness.<br />No Food or Drinks: Keep food and beverages out of the hot tub to prevent spills and contamination.<br />No Children Allowed: Children are not permitted in or near the hot tub.<br />Cover the Hot Tub: After use, please securely cover the hot tub to help maintain its temperature and cleanliness.<br />TRASH DISPOSAL<br />Trash Management: Place all trash in the designated bin located in the carport. There is no recycling on the island, so treat all waste as trash.<br />GENERAL GUIDELINES<br />Registered Guests Only: Only guests listed on the reservation are permitted to stay overnight.<br />No Commercial Use: Photography or videography for commercial purposes is not allowed without prior approval.<br />Lock Up: Ensure all doors and windows are locked when leaving.<br /><br /><br />Other Things to Note:<br />   •   Our property is located on unique terrain that may not be suitable for young children. For safety reasons, we kindly ask guests with young children to contact the host before booking.<br />   •   We also ask that the number of guests matches your reservation. If you arrive with more guests than originally booked, please notify the host immediately.
