Escape to Monkeypod Canopy, a glamping-style retreat nestled between the Bamboo grove and giant monkeypod trees.

This unique accommodation offers the a blend of rustic charm and comfort making it an ideal choice for those seeking a tranquil getaway.

Guests have access to a shared bathroom and common house with full kitchen ideal for preparing meals and socializing with fellow travelers. The adjoining large, shaded veranda with café tables offers Wi-Fi and stunning views over the Pacific Ocean.

The space
Please note: Gingerhill Farm Retreat is an eco-retreat that sits on the lush mountainside of South Kona. As such the grounds are hilly and can at times be muddy depending on the rains.

Your rustic farm-stay shares a kitchen, outdoor shower, and eco-toilet with other travelers. If you have mobility issues or prefer more privacy, please check out our other listings: Garden Cottage, Sunset Suite, Jungle Canopy, or Bamboo Cabin.

Other things to note
Here at Gingerhill Farm we heed our role as stewards of the land and commit to practices which improve the health of our acreage year after year. This means we spray no insecticides or herbicides.

It also means that in Hawaii, a subtropical island, we experience intervals of mosquito or termite pressure. Resonant Coqui frogs, native to Puerto Rico, sing at night and sound like crickets. We consider these players as part of our ecosystem and strive to maintain a balance.

Our grounds are beautiful and fertile, partly tamed and partly wild. We ask that guests understand these dynamics and book accordingly.

Registration Details
147-004-4672-01
