Primary suite is very private, in its own wing of the house. Primary suite features a small deck and overlooks the preserve.<br /><br />BATHROOMS: <br /><br />Each custom designed bathroom features a curbless Grohe shower and skylight. The primary bathroom also has a soaking tub. <br /><br />KITCHEN:<br /><br />Gorgeous, custom designed European kitchen with Miele and Subzero appliances, two sinks, two dishwashers, ZipWater chilled and boiling water dispenser, and 13 foot waterfall island. Perfect for cooking holiday meals, or just enjoying a glass of wine with friends. This is our personal home, so the kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of cookware, sharp Japanese chef's knives, and tons of dishware, glassware, and serving platters. If you need anything specific, please just ask.<br /><br />POOL:<br /><br />Some of the very best views in California are from our infinity edge pool! Pool has a solar heater that runs from May-October. We have the pool professionally cleaned and serviced year-round, but it is only heated May-October.<br /><br /><br />FIREPIT:<br /><br />There is an outdoor wood burning fireplace by the pool. Sitting outside at sunset with a glass of wine around the fireplace is super fun. We do provide a few logs to get you started, but please bring wood with you if you plan to use it extensively. <br /><br /><br />STEINWAY GRAND PIANO:<br /><br />The formal living room features a gorgeous 2021 Steinway. It is an incredibly valuable instrument and will be kept covered. Please request access to the piano if you would like to play. <br /><br />MOVIE SCREEN:<br /><br />The formal living room has a 20 foot movie screen, HD laser projector, and built in speaker system. The quality is better than a lot of movie theaters!<br /><br />THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK:<br /><br />This is not a party house. We do not allow parties, events, or gatherings of any kind. Violations of our house rules will result in immediate cancellation of your reservation without refund. This is our personal home, please treat it with respect and care. We have a cat, although she will not be present during your reservation, and the house will be professionally cleaned prior to your arrival.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />Garage is not part of the listing and will be locked off during your stay. Bedroom closets contain our personal belongings and will be locked. We provide clothing racks in each bedroom.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />1) Animal Noises: We are 10 minutes from Sand Hill Road and Stanford, but our neighborhood is semi-rural and very peaceful. Our next door neighbor keeps hens, which can be heard during the day (usually after they lay their eggs mid morning). Additionally, there is a den of coyotes down the hill from our house. They are audible from the primary bedroom if the doors are open. <br /><br />2) Closets: Closets contain our personal belongings and will be locked. Freestanding clothing racks are provided in each bedroom<br /><br />3) We have a cat who will not be here during your stay, but those with severe allergies should be aware. We do not have carpet. Couches are leather and velvet, which are easy to clean and do no retain dander or hair. House will be professionally cleaned prior to your arrival.<br /><br />4) Absolutely no parties, events, or gatherings allowed, per the city of Los Altos Hills. Noise complaints, extra guests, extra cars etc may result in the immediate cancellation of your reservation without refund. We have exterior cameras at the driveway and all entrances of the house.<br /><br />5) No Third-Party Bookings: The person making the reservation must be staying at the property for the entire duration of the booking. Please do not book the home for friends, family members, colleagues, or acquaintances if you will not be staying yourself.
