Hale Ho’olapanai—freshly and fully renovated—welcomes you into a brand-new island sanctuary where everything feels crisp, beautiful, and effortlessly comfortable. Step back in time to a slower, more peaceful Kaua‘i. This two-bedroom cottage is perfect for a couple or a small family looking to unwind in a truly magical setting. Walking distance from Tunnels Beach.

The space
Tucked into the lush garden community of Hā‘ena, Hale Ho’olapanai places you moments from world-class snorkeling at Tunnels (Makua) Beach, the island’s gorgeous wet and dry caves, and the iconic trailhead and golden curve of Ke‘e Beach. It’s a place where modern comfort meets timeless Hawai‘i… and where every day ends with salt on your skin and the sound of the ocean drifting through the palms.

Guest access
This oceanside cottage sits on a dreamy one-acre beachfront parcel with sweeping mountain and waterfall views that shift with the light. Spend slow mornings under the blooming Poinciana tree, picnic in the shade, or let the kids run free on the wide, sun-kissed lawn. Wander a few steps down the path and you’ll find yourself on one of the island’s most spectacular sandy beaches—soft sand, azure blue water, and unbelievably close.

Other things to note
Our nightly rate includes taxes. The General Excise Tax 4.712% + the Transient Accommodation Tax 14.00%.
There is air conditioning only in the bedroom.

We are trying to stop the purchase of single use plastic water bottles on island. We are asking if each person in your party can bring a metal water bottle for themselves. You can bring it through TSA empty and then fill at the airport for use during your travels or just stow it in a checked bag. We have the best double filtered water system that an integrated doctor helped us choose for optimal health.

We also have ‘water bubblers’ as well to make sparkling water to replace club soda etc.

Travel insurance is something to consider because it can protect you in terms of tickets and other non-refundable deposits/payments. Especially if you’ll be visiting during the peak hurricane months of August through November, we suggest you consider trip insurance. Because hurricanes are natural disasters, insurance must be bought prior to the development of a specific storm. The responsibility lies in your hands to protect your trip against inclement weather or sickness. Our cancellation policies are clear and will not be adjusted. Please inquire with us about purchasing travel insurance.

Registration Details
580100160002, TA-047-967-5392-01
