Experience living in an iconic California modern house from 1960 in the heart of Marin County!<br /><br />Enjoy the glass walls, open spaces and pool! Dip into the hot tub at night and listen to the coyotes in the hills, which you'll explore walking or biking on the public trails that start 1 block away. <br /><br />20 minutes from the Golden Gate bridge and San Francisco, close to the Napa & Sonoma wine countries and to beaches.<br /><br />NOTE: the house is for families with kids. We do not accept groups of adults only.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />1,750-sq ft, 4 bedrooms (1 converted into an office with a sofa bed), 2 full baths, hot tub, pool (closed from November to March), BBQ and hills views, garden, kids-friendly, large living & dining area with adjacent family room. Several kids' play areas (indoor and outdoor).<br /><br />The house still has its mid-century charm, and even though it was extensively remodeled some things have aged a bit.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />The whole house is yours!<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />There's a TV in the guest bedroom but not in the main living spaces.<br /><br />We have 2 cats. They will not be in the house during rentals and the place is thoroughly cleaned, but please be mindful if you're sensitive to cats.<br /><br />There is no air conditioning. San Rafael gets hot during the day but cools off during the evening and the night.
