Beaches, kayaking, snorkeling & a fun Sunday Market are all minutes away. The suite features an upstairs bedroom with a Queen bed and an ocean view, and a downstairs King bed and Queen sofa sleeper with a private lanai. A large outdoor kitchen and bbq are steps away.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />Our newly renovated 2-story Manta Suite occupies two upper floors in a unique 3-story building that used to be a processing site for a macadamia nut farm, now converted into fun, spacious living quarters. <br /><br />A large shared outdoor kitchen and barbecue are just steps away. This gorgeous jungle environment features lush greenery, and a symphony of coqui frogs, parrots, pheasants, goats, wild pigs, geckos, and colorful local roosters! You may hear or see any of them at any time, adding to the adventure and the natural charm of the place—and all this just 20 minutes from Kona!<br /><br />Feel free to pick your own fruit from guava, mango, orange, lemon, pomelo, or banana trees, depending on the season.<br /><br />You can also enjoy our shared outdoor pool and its beautiful deck, as well as a shared hot tub. Please note that the pool is for guests ages 5 and up, and the hot tub is for guests 14 and older<br /><br />Coffee and tea are provided in room and in the shared kitchen. Beach towels are available free of charge, as are beach towels. We also have some snorkel gear, beach chairs, an umbrella, and possibly some boogie boards available on a first-come, first-served basis.<br /><br />We’re proud to offer special rates for kamaʻāina and military guests. Plus, a convenient poolside bathroom and shower—everything you need for the perfect escape.<br /><br />The gorgeous jungle lane leading from the main road to the property is quiet and makes for a great little walk when you want to stretch your legs. You’re close to hiking trails—including the famous Captain Cook trail, which leads to the crystal waters of Kealakekua Bay, where spinner dolphins reside, just a 10-minute walk from the property. Manini Beach is just a 12-minute drive, and Place of Refuge takes about 20. <br /><br />Supermarkets and cafes are all within a 5-minute drive, and so is the eclectic Aloha Green Sunday Farmer's Market, which features arts, crafts, jewelry, food, live music, and more!<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Virtually every inch of the property has been upgraded over the past 5 years since Christophe and Bonnie purchased the property in 2021.
