For your beach excursions, we provide beach chairs, beach wagon, towels, backpack cooler with ice packs, backpack picnic basket, and thermal water bottles.<br /><br />POOLS: While our building does not have its own pool, there are gorgeous pools next door on both sides (The Modern Hotel to the left, and The Prince Hotel on the right) that offer poolside dining and drinks as well as Cabana rentals (public welcome, pay with credit card). If you want to enjoy additional upscale pools in Waikiki, check out ResortPass for day passes and cabana rentals at many of the resort hotels. <br /><br />ISLAND EXCURSIONS: Sunset cruises, sailing, snorkeling, scuba diving, parasailing, surfing lessons, and island tours are all conveniently available from the marina right outside the door. In our digital guest guidebook we provide links to the best of the island experiences.<br /><br />BUILDING NOTICES: Occasionally the building management will post notices in the elevator to advise guests about building maintenance issues which may include water shut off for several hours to facilitate renovations of other units or commercial properties in the building. If there is a water shut off, it will typically be on a Thursday and begin at 9 a.m. and last until the repairs are completed (could be several hours). Guests are advised to plan in advance if a water shut down is scheduled (note that publicly accessible restrooms are available at the Modern Hotel next door/2nd floor/walk over skybridge). Additionally, the building management may require access to the apartment for mandatory maintenance for Air Conditioning or Pest Control applications. Advance notice will be given for all required building maintenance issues.
