The Guest Suite, in the geographical heart of the city, is convenient for traveling to all parts of San Francisco. Served by 5 bus lines, our guests can be downtown in 10 minutes. We are 5 minutes by bus to the Castro, Haight Ashbury, and Golden Gate Park, 10 to Noe Valley and the Mission, in NOPA, a destination in itself. People may call it “trendy”, but you can call it home.<br /><br />We love our city, but do travel ourselves, so we hope to please our guests in many small ways. Let us surprise you.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />We designed our space with more luxury than expected from a short term rental, because we built this for our own use. We offer 540 thread count sheets, down pillows on request, extra blankets and throws, and plush 100% cotton bath towels. Guests are provided with the use of fine china, more than ample numbers of utensils, wine and regular glasses, as well as over a dozen mugs for freshly roasted coffee and a large assortment of teas. The art relates to our own travels and some great travel guides and maps for San Francisco are also available for guests to use. We also have umbrellas available for our guests.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />The apartment is located on the ground floor of our home with a separate entrance. Guests are welcome to use the garden until 9:30 P.M. We can be reached easily, since we live upstairs. You may phone us, email or just ring our doorbell. All of our reservations are hosted. <br /><br />We routinely provide a ride to our favorite local store if guests want to buy groceries upon arrival. An overview of the neighborhood in the car is also an amenity that we can provide gratis to guests by prior arrangement.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />*Here's the best part: We can offer our guests free entry to either the DeYoung or Legion of Honor fine art museums, or the California Academy of Science.<br /><br />*If our guests want to go to the wine country of Sonoma County for a day visit, we can arrange to create a private tour for you. You might also consider a a long drive along the Pacific ocean. Both of these options may end up with a memorable dining experience at local restaurants. <br /><br />*Since we travel to Europe each year, we provide a currency exchange to European guests that saves the cost of bank fees and fluctuating exchange rates for all of us, based on bank rates published on the Internet the day of your exchange.<br /><br />*When guests have special needs we like to help by being very flexible, so let us know ahead of your arrival what they are and we will try to accommodate you if our schedule permits.<br /><br /><b>Registration Details</b><br />STR-0001702
