This top floor flat is lovely and light filled. This 1923 Marina style flat offers all the convenience of home, with a full kitchen, luxury linens and a deep tub for soaking at the end of the day.<br />Located just blocks from Baker and China Beaches, the Presidio, and Golden Gate Park and numerous museums. Excellent, cafes, restaurants, a grocery/butcher, well as major bus lines all close by. There is a laundry a on the corner. The neighborhood and area is perfect for walking and discovering SF.<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />Climb the stairs to a peaceful retreat. You land in the foyer where you can hang your hat and ease into your stay. The living room has lots of cozy seating for conversation, reading or napping. There is a table by the window where you can sit in the morning and drink coffee and watch the neighborhood start the day. In the evening, enjoy glass of wine and play a game of scrabble or dominoes.<br /><br />The dining room tables seats four and there is a breakfast bar that faces the kitchen. The kitchen is stocked with cooking supplies; tea, coffee, olive oil, vinegar, etc. are available for guests to use. There is a drip coffee maker and a Moka pot, however, if you prefer expresso, Bazaar Cafe just around the corner on California and Angelina's on the corner are both excellent options.<br />There is a split bathroom with toilet and sink in one and a shower/tub and sink in the other. Down the hallway, the bedroom is peaceful and spacious with a queen bed, a closet , hooks and hangers for clothing as well a shelf with extra blankets and towels. There are curtains and black out shades on the window.<br /><br />Note: The owners bedroom and dressing are locked and not available for guests use.<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />A combination of a key (in a lockbox) to enter the gate and keyless entry for the flat.<br /><br /><b>Other things to note</b><br />Note: As of August 2026, Air BnB has changed their fee structure. All booking fees - for guest and host- are now paid by the host. Now, as a host, they require me to raise my rates by 15% to cover guest booking fees to them. Otherwise, the host pays Air BnB for all fees. Apparently this makes it more simple. I think it’s a bit questionable. But stating this makes it transparent. I did not raise my nightly rate. Air BnB did. 😐<br /><br />Please do not use the back stairs or enter garage.<br />Do not climb to roof.<br />Absolutely no fires or smoking inside. There is a bench out front. <br />Please be respectful of neighbors below. No loud noise or music after 10:00 pm please.<br />Some Tuesdays and Wednesdays may be blocked, please contact me as there may be flexibly to open those days for you. <br /><br />To provide you with better service, we ask that you be a VERIFIED user, have a profile filled out and a PHOTO of your smiling face before making a reservation. Also, please share the full name of the person you are traveling/staying with and their relationship to you. Please treat our home like your own, with respect. No overnight guests other than those pre-registered on Airbnb.<br /><br />There is an elementary schoolyard adjacent to property. Windows are four-sash double paned and block all sound.<br /><br />Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of guests. If you leave something, I will contact you and arrange to get it back to you. Please report any damages immediately or complaints and we'll do our best to resolve them while you're here. You must also acknowledge the security deposit of $150 - if you damage the home, you may be charged up t $150. Using our address to receive packages or mail is prohibited. <br /><br />We want you to relax when you stay here so no need to remove sheets or towels upon your departure.
