(Short Term rental now available Please inquire about dates)<br /><br /><b>The space</b><br />This luxury vacation home, which sleeps 8 comfortably with 4 Bedrooms and 3 full baths. A modern, fully equipped kitchen over looks the lake. The Tahoe Keys amenities include an indoor and outdoor pool, 7 tennis courts, health club and private beach. This home has been completely remodeled and furnished with outdoor furniture, BBQ-grill, washer/dryer, dishwasher, garbage compactor, microwave, fully stocked kitchen, linens included, cable TV, 70' flat screen, in living room and new TV's in every bedroom free Wifi, fireplace, upper/lower decks, and much more<br /><br /><b>Guest access</b><br />1869 Venice Drive,<br /> South Lake Tahoe, CA<br /><br /><br />Internet Name - Paradise<br />Internet Password: Marcel26<br /><br /><br />Arrival: Do not park on street during winter you will be towed!<br />• Turn heat up on the thermostat 68 is usually warm enough, there is a separate heater for the two upstairs master bedrooms thermostat is in the master bedroom to the right it controls both bedrooms. (Winter time) <br />• Turn on the water heater from Vacation to HOT – Downstairs next to bedroom if not you will be taking cold showers in the morning!<br />• Turn on Water (Both hot & Cold) for Washing Machine if needed (Knobs are behind the washer)<br />• DO NOT MOVE FURNITURE AROUND! (This causes damage) <br />• Please make sure to not mark up walls or interior doors when moving luggage into rooms, to re-stain a door is $600.00 each)<br />• There is a camera on the wet bar please close privacy window when you arrive (do not unplug) open privacy window when you leave please.<br /><br />• IMPORTANT - When using the Bar-b-que please clean after each use with metal brush and put cover back on after it cools down. This will keep bears from coming on deck because of the smell of food. <br />• When cooking in kitchen please close sliding kitchen door to keep smell of food from traveling, we have had bears come on deck from the smell of food.<br />• NO Fireworks of any kind! (You will be arrested onsite!)<br />• Please do not let Children play or tamper with any TV equipment, staircase and kitchen area ropes <br />• Please be considerate with noise level after 10PM, as sound echoes through the keys area and not everyone there is on vacation.<br />• Don’t move the furniture around this causes to break legs ect.<br />• DON’T FEED THE DUCKS! (summer)<br /><br />Notes: I DO NOT ALLOW PETS OF ANY KIND!, if you are caught with a pet on the property you will be asked to leave immediately with no refund!<br /><br />• The fan for the stove is set into the island, press the button gently &<br /> fan will rise…. the adjustment for the fan is on the side.<br />• There is a remote to ignite the gas for the fireplace- this should be on the mantle please be sure and leave it there.<br />• To use kitchen faucet just wave your hand in front of sensor this will <br />Turn water on and off.<br />• Please use only cleaning products that are onsite, for longer stays you <br />• are required to refill as needed. Here is a list of what to use on appliances, tile, granite ect.<br />• Granite cleaner for all kitchen, bar area & bathroom counters <br />• Hardwood floor cleaner is supplied with spray mop<br />• Stainless steel cleaner for fridge, dishwasher, oven and stove top, do not use any harsh cleaner this will scratch services<br />• Soft scrub for all sinks, toilets and showers is fine.<br />• Please use squeegees in showers to keep water stains from building up<br />• There is a blower in the garage for pollen and bird dropping that build up every couple of days its good to blow the top deck first then the lower deck, there is also a large duster on the lower deck (summer only) <br />• To raise blinds push button in the middle and raise gently, to open and close turn white handle<br />• Please use trash bags for all garbage. Do not remove trash can from kitchen slider just replace bags as needed (Keep bags closed this helps the smell in the garage. Place all garbage in black garbage can in garage.<br /><br />• Please be careful of wild animals such as coyotes, bears etc. Remember you are in the mountains and animals come down for food and water. Keep an eye on children at all times and keep screen doors closed during day and night.<br />• Please put out garbage cans on Friday mornings around 9 am Very Important!! (if you are there on that day) Please do not put out night <br />before animals will get into them. <br /><br />Departure: This should be checked when you are ready to leave!<br /><br />• Turn Heat back to 55 Degrees “important.. or pipes freeze” if it’s summer please turn heater off<br />• Turn Water heater back to Vacation from Hot<br />• Turn off water for Washing machine (if used)<br />• Be sure to close and lock all window and doors & close damper<br />• Please be sure to check that all lights & TV’s are off.<br />• Please throw out all perishables, (don’t leave your food in the fridge!!!) Put the garbage in the trash cans located in the garage<br />• Be sure Coffee pot is off and unplugged<br />• Please put dirty linens next to the bed. If bed was not used please leave bed made. Please run a load of towels and dry you do not need to fold. <br />• TV turned off and make sure all remotes are in the rooms! <br />• Please put all dirty dishes, glasses ect in the dish washer and run (do not put away cleaning crew will do this. <br /><br />• Please put all keys back in lock box, lost keys will have a $10.00 charge each (no exceptions)<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Directions:<br />From I-50 when you get to the Y go straight –cross over Lake Tahoe Blvd<br />Follow approx. between 1 – 2 miles take a right on 15th, follow to the end (T in the road) Go left on to Venice Drive, fifth house on the right. (Quickest route)<br /><br />You can also go right at the Y on to Lake Tahoe Blvd. Then take a left<br />On to Tahoe Keys Blvd, then left on the Venice (just pass the Tahoe Keys sign)<br />Then follow to 1869 Venice Drive.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Recommendations/info:<br />Heavenly is approx. 15 minutes from the house.<br />The Sage room at Harvey’s (One of our favorites) – <br /><br /><br />Close to the house: <br />Evans Restaurant at the end of 15th – one of the best in town<br /> Sunnys Barbecue really good burgers, best onions rings around<br /> Rivas Grill -ski run blvd<br /> Artemis good lamb skewers (2 locations both good)<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /> Things to bring with you<br /><br />1. Toilet paper & paper towels (there will be one roll supplied in each bathroom for your arrival) <br />2. Paper plates (recommend if you do not want to wash and put away dishes, napkins, paper towels (There will be 1 roll of paper towel in kitchen for your arrival) <br />3. Condiments I would bring small ones just in case mustard, mayo, butter ect)<br />4. Laundry soap, body soap, shampoo ect<br />5. Grounded Coffee or Coffee Pods
