Beautifully tiled bathrooms. Relax in the elegant master bath/shower with fireplace or shower upstairs with gorgeous lake views. The master bedroom has a king bed. The Aspen room can have a king or two singles as you prefer, the Lakeview Room has two single beds and there is a fold out couch in the balcony alcove. There is also a cot and two air beds that can be used with sleeping bags if you have additional sleepers. Centrally located two blocks from the lake, restaurants and shops; take TART (rapid transit bus) to ski lifts including Homewood, Alpine Meadows, Squaw Valley and Northstar. Walk to swimming and boating marina, Truckee River rafting, and a lovely golf course. Hiking and biking from your door. <br /><br />Guests will escape the weather through the two car garage to enter and leave the chalet.<br /><br />The neighborhood is the original historic Tahoe City residential area 1/2 block to school and playground. It is less than two blocks from the main town on regularly plowed streets . Walk to a variety of nice to restaurants and shops and two blocks to the Tahoe City commons beach and boatworks. <br /><br />It is a great spot for families, safe neighborhood with play area nearby. Tahoe City has wonderful happy hours at the River grill, Jakes, Rosies or drive over to Sunnyside.<br /><br />Beautiful views from the upstairs balconies where you can sit with a glass of wine or a cup of tea.
